Anyone else who’s listened to this on tv have raised eyebrows at what Paddy McGuiness says in the opening salvo.
Sounds to me like he’s using the “F’ing”word - obviously not but once heard, never unheard.

Yes. Sounded like F-ing to me the first time I heard it and it hasn't changed after multiple viewings.

But after that reverts to a northern monkey with “book” as in spook…

Nor apparently are TV cameras two-way, so he wouldn't have seen me on the occasions that I watched show in which he appeared.
So I have parked the incident in my very large folder of Inexplicable Events.

If there isn’t a good lounge for the flight, sometimes business lounge for BA is awful / way over crowded due to points holders, we often just go to waga, order a couple of bottle of bubbles with nibbles, much prefer it to the caviar bars.
More expensive but with the right table, you’ve got a nice space of your own.
The advert on the tv didn’t catch my attention, on the radio though this morning at my parents, it did.
