£550 on the canvas web strap or £675 on the Bader (oyster style) bracelet. If you’ve ever handled a CW you’ll know that’s great value. I’m not bothered about the military thing but I fairness their watches are approved by the MoD to carry the military insignia. Would make a great value good quality grab and go. I don’t like chronos myself but if they did something similar with the Sandhurst field watch I’d be all over it.Interesting release from Christopher Ward. 39mm thermo-quartz accurate to +-10s annually puts it into GS territory, but it's 550 on strap and 715 on bracelet.
I would prefer a 3 hand but I'd like to see more of this as a cut price GS alternative, would be fantastic as a grab and go .

The "officially approved by HMAF" leaves me a bit cold. MoD have a marketing department and sell the rights to companies to use military branding...they sell the brand to anything from Action Men to clothing. I can't speak for Sandhurst, but I don't have particularly fond memories of my time at Cranwell!

Sadly, I think the quartz movement from the CW (which looks great, I think, esp. at the price point) is the same cheapo in the MoonSwatch, rather than the better movement used in other quartz chronos (Breitling, Precista, etc.) So that means no stepping hour hand for travellers.

I just came specifically to post the same thing. These have definitely grabbed my attention too! The price point seems ok compared to other companies who have released a smaller sized variant (I'm looking at you Sinn U50!)
I've only ever tried a Seestern homage to the 300T so I know that the dimensions aren't exact, but found that it wore quite nicely apart from being a bit too thick for my liking. This smaller 200T seems to address that issue.
EDIT: I've just looked on the Doxa website and the UK price is slightly higher unfortunately than the mental conversion from USD would be. So not quite as good value as I was originally thinking, but probably worth waiting on it coming to SC.

Yeah I find the 300T a little chunky. The 300 is better but the uptick on price is hard to swallow.
Apart from the 18mm lugs which I'm not too keen on these could solve the issue by being smaller and £400 cheaper

With the bracelet/rubber strap flare as it comes away from the case, I'm guessing it will wear more like a 20mm though. I'd be interested in seeing the weight listed too (and a comparison to the 300/300T weights).
I'll look forward to seeing some reviews and real world comparison to the 300T.

I saw the prototype of this at the British Watchmakers' Day and it's really good. They had it on a period correct type of bracelet and it looked fantastic.
I like that, I just can't decide if the yellow-green at the centre makes it look dirty and faded. I might have preferred it if the colour faded from a pale/light green at the centre to the fluoro green at the edge.
They also announced a 40mm Pioneer with a cosmic green dial and the new movement.

Good to know. Being an owner of the previous 40mm one I thought it would be.
I stupidly didn't take a photo but the things that stuck out to me were that they got rid of the two red dots on the dial and the crystal looked much nicer with more of a dome. The bracelet looked great. The whole package looked very close to the original.
Any idea of price for the vertex? Hoping less than the 40mm version
Given that the M100 (40mm) is £2,500, I suspect this will be in excess of that figure. If that’s the case I’d sooner look at a Timor watch reissue for a good deal less.
The new Timor modern version in DLC looks nice
