The Steinhart Nav B Chrono II was a great choice to take away on a recent vacation to Turkey.
The blue leather strap works well to highlight the blued hands to give a more leisurely feel than the chunky steel bracelet.
Seems a subject of repeated interest.
My last camping/cycling trip to the French alps I wore my PRS-48 but the leather strap took a bit of abuse so I figured a rubber strap is really a better option.
My BB58 has been on the back burner as I did say to my wife I’d sell it on the one in one out policy when I bought the Mark XX but I haven’t got round to that yet and maybe I have found a new important role to justify keeping it.
Comfortable on the rubber B strap, water proof for swimming , not a muggers magnet and has great lume … perfect for holidays.

My FXD is top choice for short holidays. The lack of a date complication hampers it for a longer trip.

The Zodiac Super Sea Wolf 53, is my current favourite "holiday watch":
Great White and Yacht-master 16622 also take turns as holiday watches.

This just did 3000miles with me, from home to Almeria and back again over the last 3 weeks.
Nothing it could not do.

My most worn holiday watches over the past 10 years have been a 114270 and 16570. I take the view that I am not prepared to wear a typical “holiday watch” for about 20% of the year just because I am on holiday.
That said, my most worn watch for a recent glamping and beach holiday was this one.
Robust enough for playing with grandchildren and BBQs and sufficient water resistance for swimming and rock pools.
Mine for the last two summers.
I wear this on my trips back home to Cornwall.
You don't need a minute hand in Cornwall.
Having sold my Solar Tuna mod, it’s going to be my G-Shock mod from here on …

I'm no good at just taking one watch. There's usually a cheap Casio for the pool and steam room, plus at least one more.
If it could only be one, it would probably be the GS. Cheap and sturdy enough not to worry about it.

Always have my trusty GMT when I am abroad. Orange strap is just right for the summer.
Having a cold Mythos in the central square of Patmos 3 weeks ago.
It’s an easy one for me. The Christopher Ward 12 titanium. Versatile enough with both a strap or a bracelet. Cheap enough to not worry about it. Amazing dial, accurate and really light! What else can you ask for?

This did the job last time I went away.
This always works for me.

SMP on rubber for me. Discrete and extremely comfortable.

None of my good watches are going on holiday with me. I’m taking my gated GShock that I can smash the hell out of and not give a damn
and one of my cheap Ali specials for the evenings either
Or more likely.

Posted before, but it's my Clemence Photic . Came with a rubber strap and a bracelet, 200m water resistance and not too expensive.

Autozilla.
Cheers..

Complete with a map showing where I am in the world - and I don't have to set anything other than my home time zone at first setup, location and time are then automatic....
Though if I wanted to look a little more discreet....
Best Regards - Peter
I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
Still this

This has replaced my Pelagos as my holiday watch. Never been a massive fan of Breitling and, of course this is a quartz! Regardless, I really like it.

This for me; Ocean one vintage GMT (The name is longer than the bracelet....)
I've actually been quite impressed with it. It's a nice solid feeling yet relatively svelte GMT with 300m water resistance and a price tag that won't give you a nose bleed if you lose it in the sea.
Oh, and an excellent time keeper too, circa +1 sec / day on the wrist.

This summer the holiday watch has been the Polar Baby Dreadnought. Did travel with a titanium Citizen AQ1040-53A for my trip to Italy/Spain earlier in the summer as it has a jumping hour hand, making it easier to set while traveling.

Currently doing a fine job but not quite the perfect holiday watch. I do miss having a GMT hand or chrono as I find both more useful than a dive bezel.
Off to Cornwall with our Holiday watches on. My 12 year old is enjoying the Timex.
This accompanied me to Montenegro recently. Tough as old boots, legible and no worries about being mugged for it.

This for me. Sometimes on a NATO if I think it’s required.
Love this!

Loving some of the colours in this thread. I got this for holidays but it quickly became my daily. Indestructible too.
