A bad, very drunk, post-vGtG photo of my much-worn, much-loved Traser Officer trit-tube go-to-bed-in Rembrandt (the Night Watch).

Inge Doppel. Absolutely loving this, never been off the wrist since it arrived. Photos really don't to justice to the lustrous, silky ti case, popping 3D matt dial, subtle blue highlights, even the angled sculpting on the rubber strap. Plus that double chronograph movement of course.

    iWatch again for me.

I saw some of the worse fakes of the leading brands at a night market last night. I also saw an interesting sign warning me to be careful of bad copies of the copies.

Before anyone comments, no, I do not own any fakes but alway fun to see how convincing they are.

I've made a commitment to no more than three watches in 2024, in the abstinence thread. I'm really pleased therefore that this arrived yesterday and so doesn't count!!!!

Pulled this out of the drawer on Christmas Day and the date read 25. It was meant to be.

1967 Constellation Pie Pan with rare black dial, I concluded that the dial's either original or service replacement when I had the watch in pieces for restoration. Bracelet was sourced from Watchco a few years ago, a genuine Omega replacement, not quite as nice as an original but with the benefit of being new. A super watch that doesn`t get enough wear, every time it comes out it reminds me why I was happy to part with a black-dialled Rolex Datejust a few years back.
