Morning guys, who in the UK has the biggest selection and is it possible to get a discount?
I've got my eyes on a 112 and a 312.... :)
PS i'm happy to buy overseas as well...
Up in newcastle there is Berry's they always have a decent selection in the window, I have never been in to look and don't know about discount though

If you are after a deal, the best place is here as most of the AD's are a bit mean
I was in Watches of Switzerland recently and, whilst I didn't push, I certainly got the impression they were unwilling to offer a discount.

ADs are just dealing at cut-throat prices.
Try Wempe on Bond Street or David M Robinson Canary Wharf. They may throw in an additional strap(s) rather than cash discount depending on the model.

There's also a couple of places in Burlington arcade that have usually have some. I'd imagine the smaller places like that would be more 'haggleable'

Agreed, and they seem to get the rarer models in stick too. Never had a discount but always managed to get at least an extra strap, buckle or deployment and set of screwbars. Found the place a bit snobby an the staff a bit oily but they are knowledgeable.
From my experience, it's harder to get a discount on a Panerai than a steel sports Rolex.
I managed to get a strap and deployant thrown into the deal when I bought mine which I then subsequently sold. Slightly long-winded way of getting discount but it equated to just over 10% which I was more than happy with!

I've no idea whether they will give you a discount - they never gave me one!
Why dont you call up some of the airport shops to get the vat free price?
They will generally hold a watch if call up and pay a deposit but am not sure if they stock panerai (WoS at heathrow maybe?)

Not sure about a discount but when I was there looking at JLC a few weeks back the chap gave me his card, offered to hold the watch & told me to call his mobile if he wasn't on the shop floor so maybe they are a bit keener now for a sale ?
