Flight Simulator X Joystick?

Back in the day I was quite into flightsims; FS2002 & CFS2 with my trusty Microsoft FF2 joystick.

That went by the wayside, until today when I picked up a copy of FSX Delux Edition for £9.95 at my local Game.

It was only when I got home that I learned that my dutiful & loving spouse had binned my old joystick years back to make space for some absolutely vital shoes!





Can anyone recommend a replacement (joystick)?.. Should I chase a used Microsoft FF2 on eBay or is there a modern equivalent? So far I understand there may be compatibility issues with Win-7 Home Premium & FF2, but force feedback seems unpopular with gamers (because it can upset their aim) and has fallen by the wayside.

Max budget is a pair of Boden Penny Loafers so the full blown yoke-pedals-throttle quadrant is out but force feedback is a must.

Suggestions please?
