the last watch i would sell is my irish grandfathers aurora silver pocket watch,i had it mechanically restored for my late father from whom i inherited it.i never met my grandfather,he died long before i was born but when i hold that old watch with its dinks and chipped glass the link is there..there is not enough money to ever make me sell it...

For sentimental reasons, an Armani watch my mam and dad bought me xmas 2006. my dad was (understatement) unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer a few weeks later and died A few weeks later. It was the last thing he ever bought me and while it's rarely worn, it carries huge emotional and sentimental weight.

for practicality reasons, my Tag Monaco McQueen, which I bought off SC for £1400 in IMMACULATE condition (for which I found a special edition wooden box and spare straps to give it a different look) due to the simple fact that with retail at £4600 and rising for the latest model, I don't think they'll ever be at that low a price level again.

I have a marcello c tridente that i bought for a specific sentimental reason from SC

The clear caseback was a consideration as i will get around to engraving it which will make it difficult to move on anyway

The last reason is nobody seems to like it for some reason so i suspect it will be hard to sell and i think it is amazing and worth more than its value (taking any sentiment away)

For the reasons above it will stay, i will update with a pic later

    2500c orange PO 42mm.

Cant see it moving on for a long time. Maybe never as I think this model will become more and more desirable.

    1966 Seamaster...Simply because I like it

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1421496389.227967.jpg

And a Raymond Weil Tango my wife gave me for my 30th...I know these aren't that well received on most forums but it's actually a surprisingly well crafted watch.

My Ingy which eventually will be handed over to my son. He's only a year old so I still have some time to enjoy it for myself.

I have a platinum day date that I bought new over 20 years ago. I did part with it for a couple of years but bought it back and decided its staying for good.
Its the ultimate understated watch IMHO, as the vast majority of people don't know what it is, so you can wear it anywhere.

I'd like to say my nautilus but I'd happily sell it if need be.

I think my seamaster 2254 will be with me forever.

    A couple -

Do check out my review of my Patek Annual Calendar - http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.php?117933 .. here is an excerpt: When I sadly lost my mother to cancer in 2006, amongst other things she left me enough money to buy this superb watch. . . Just final thoughts - I wear this watch a lot. Sometimes I don't wear it for a while, then I put it back on - and it makes me smile inside. Thanks mum..

And this Rolex Air-King-Date left to me which was my Dad's watch - will never be sold, hopefully my step daughter will enjoy it one day.

That would be my Tudor Sub brought new by me about 25 years ago now, didn't realise what an old git I'm getting till I worked that out.

Mind I'd also struggle to get shot of my 353601 Aquatimer which I've had for about 14 years.

In reverse order, last being last....

Christiaan van der Klaauw Ariadne - part funded by my missus for my 40th
Dornbluth 99.2. - it has a declaration of love for my other half engraved into the movement
1960 Tissot dress watch - it has an engraved case back for my grandfather's retirement from the NUS in 1960

But pretty much all 20+ of them are hear to stay.

I will not sell my Seiko Black Monster. It's from my son's birth year, and I have promised it to him.

    It's a cracker, too!

My first 'proper' watch, a Submariner 16610 bought in 2003 after my first year of being successfully self employed. Worn it daily ever since and never let me down despite never being serviced.

my 2006 LV - still love it today as much as the day i bought it :-)

At the moment it's the speedy pro that I picked up from SC over Christmas. Saving it for my birthday but can not see me parting with it.
