Thanks, just bought a strap that was down from 55 to 14.95.

Now I just hope that it is better than any old strap costing 14.95 on ebay.

The RRP is often massively bloated.

I must admit that I love the Trident Pro Bronze with blue dial.

I like the DLC UTC world timer. Although at 44mm and with those massive crowns it’ll be too big for me.

Some really great watches these. I would buy the hand wound C65 Trident if it was less than 41mm. And if I didn't have 3 CW watches already...

    Looks good doesn't it?
It amused me that there is a used one for -30%, but the new ones are -50%

The bronze and blue trident looks nice. Might be a tad small at 38 mm but worth a punt.

Prices are very good especially the bronze, dont think I have seen a bronze watch with those specs for that price. I would get one but having bought several CW watches I have not kept one which probably tells me that if I did buy I wouldnt keep this one either.

Yes, I saw the sale. Bought one of the divers for £347 which I have now.

Wears larger than its size and probably not good for diving or swimming at all (150m and no screw down crown) but beautifully built.

it’s very similar to the recent Retro Bell & Ross/Rado though I don’t think it’s a homage and don’t know if the CW didn’t come first. I wouldn’t expect either of those to be better made.

I’m enjoying that it’s hand wound as I think this is far more authentic. Automatic watches in the era that these watches refer to weren’t in the majority except at the high end as I remember. The fact that the Omegas and Rolexes from that era survived has skewed our view IMO.
