Don’t tell him Pike.
Saddened to hear of the passing of Ian Lavender who was the last remaining cast member of Dad's Army. What a great legacy be leaves behind in the TV and radio episodes.
Don’t tell him Pike.
HEITS, as we say at Aston Villa.

RIP Ian.
Sad news indeed, all on parade somewhere else now, RIP Ian.

sad, however he will live on as do the rest of the platoon, as i watch and listen to the recordings i have of every tv show and radio episode at least once a week ,RIP
Sad news. Funnily enough the other half was just saying the other week that all the Dad's Army cast had passed on now, I corrected her but unfortunately she was only out by a couple of weeks.
RIP

His face is just a picture, a great comic actor who brought a lot of joy to me and my family.
I used to love Dad's Army as a kid and it's still funny now.
The characters were all so well written and, of course, there were a lot of great character actors in it, but as a kid, it was just funny :)
Sad that the last of them has gone now - Time marches on, often with a bit of straw in its mouth...
