Not something youd want to wear every day, but very cool, none the less. Shame about the price, as at that much its not something youd take a punt on.

Who can release more 'limited edition' models do you think, Seiko or Omega? This one in particular is bridging the gap even more with emulating the Speedmaster look.

They could have put the leather strap on correctly.

    Good point. Lol.

Seiko are always in a rush to make more new models. It appears that they are in as much of a rush to get photographs out of their new models. Classic.

If its on a deployant (which it looks like) then thats the way the majority of manufacturers fit them with the small strap at 6. No idea why.

In Japan it is considered rude to have the tail of the strap pointing at someone else.
So they fit the short side at 6 so the long side points to you.
The buckles are branded this way as well.

    Here it is.

    Interesting point.

It is some kind of folding clasp. The strap keepers are on the six o'clock part of the strap, so the short length.

Something Esher like about that watch face! Like it - but tad expensive as import taxes are also payable and not knowing about the brand etc.

I knew Phil Toledano quite well, we went to school together, same year.
He has a real thing for the rarer releases from PP, Rolex and others from back in the 80s when they allowed themselves to create ranges with a significantly bolder design aesthetic than they allow themselves now.
He's a talented bloke, and quite active on Social Media, his instagram, misternenthusiast, is great, as is his little brand proejct, Vivo Bastardo

I hadnt heard that explanation before, but lately Ive been wearing my vintage Seiko on leather with the buckle at six, on the grounds that its the Japanese way. Ive come to prefer it, as it seems a more ergonomic way to buckle the strap, you can see what youre doing and its oddly satisfying. It also looks better from certain angles, mainly to others or in the mirror.

Was amazed.. although I don't see much of what you get over an original really.

Fascinating, thank you. Always wondered why that was.

I really like the new Speedtimers, but not enough to buy another as I bought the Panda when it was first released. The green bezel version looks great but Id want it with the bracelet.

It looks as if Sinn have released an updated 903
The crown at 10:30 looks to have been removed
The dial now has 3D lume plots and new dial colours.

    I like them!

The light blue limited for me seems to be too light!

Want to see one in flesh

Yep, this 903 refresh looks great, and that pale sky blue is really pretty - but the lack of contrast is just bad design: blued hands would have made it more special AND more legible.

Although Sinn make remarkably little of it, it appears the inner bezel-ring is now adjusted by the outer bezel, as per the 717. A nice touch.

Good the column-wheel LJP 8000 stays too.

I actually like that a lot, but as has been mentioned, not at that price. I'm sure quite a lot of work has gone into its design, but at the end of the day it's a Chinese made watch with a Sellita movement.

Good for them. I'm pleased to see them get rewarded for coming up with something fresh and original, even if to me personally the price seems a bit high for what it is.

Technically not new releases as these are from fall 2022 but I don't think these have been mentioned yet.
Laco Scorpion diver in 39mm, comes in three colours blue (Atlantik), orange (Mojave) and green (Amazonas).
EUR 930 on rubber, EUR 980 on bracelet +EUR 130 if you want the top grade SW200 over the elabor grade.

I really like the improvements theyve made to the line but the grey SPB143 and the LE SPB149 were better looking, IMO.

    Agreed.

Its a good bit more than the cwc

A huge bit more than a Timor

And not even remotely comparable in cost to a baltany (though surely higher in quality)

    Looks brilliant though

What on earth is going on? That looks like they've teamed up with Bremont plus they're taking creative consultancy from a Chinese kickstarter brand.

    IMHO of course.
