Could you recommend a good watchmaker in the UK?

I am looking for a good independant watchmaker in the UK who could service my Lancet WWI trench watch at a reasonable cost.
The crystal has yellowed and probably needs to be changed.
The watch -a manual wind- runs including the seconds hand, but it is very inaccurate (loses an hour every two hours), and it probably needs quite a bit of work (!).
I am including some pics, and I would appreciate any advice really, as I know very little about restoring a vintage watch.

You could try Ryte Time in Leicestershire. They were recommended to me on the forum when I wanted my Speedmaster mk ii serviced. Just google the name and you will easily find the website.

Brendan Hoey aka webwatchmaker is excellent.

Did a fantastic job on my old Navitimer.

This is exactly what I thought. I remember someone never a pocket watch serviced and he was up for it, and his prices are very competitive. He's done obscure eastern bloc watches of mine.

That almost looks surreal. Extremely treasurable, good luck finding the right person to do the job!

Duncan (Cannop on here) is very good. Reliable, and trustworthy.

Another thumbs up for Cannop from me, he's done work on several of my watches now and I've always been very happy with the results.

Brendan has recently carried out some work for me also (movement service, dna removal, general tidy up, new seals etc)
Swift turn around, good comms and peace of mind.
I will certainly be utilising his skills again.
