Thanks Ron Jr, I just tried to search these yesterday - also tried with "Italiano specs"
Thanks!
Thanks for puting it all together for easy viewing Ron,
but a Darlek avatar? I didn't know you are a Whovian as well!
On another note, maybe you can help me out. Or maybe someone can. I can't figure out how to get an avatar photo small enough to use here. No matter how I adjust it with my program here, I can't get it under the 6mb maximum. Any tips for me?
TIA,
Mike

How big are your 'turns'? Give the crown a realy roll, the length of your thumb, and it'll take fewer turns. My Panerai takes 20 turns for a 24-hour period of wear. Does that help?
Re: Italian - PRS-20 Specs
I can't remember how many winds it takes from stopped up to the top but wearing it every day and winding it first thing in the morning, it takes 13 - 15 winds to take it back to the top. I suppose it takes fewer winds than other Unitas-based watches I've owned because of the comparatively large crown.

Wouldn't that have the opposite effect? If each turn involves running your thumb up a couple of cm, when the crown is big, its circumference is big, so that couple of cm means a fewer number of turns?

1. Isn't that what is known as 'gearing'?
2. It also depends on the length of the thumb and what Eddie defined as 'the stroke'.
We need a formula. Something like ... "The angle of the dangle is twice the heat of the meat." :|
