i use bitwarden free, personal,

BOTTOM LINE
Bitwarden is simply the best app we've tested for free password management, while the paid version adds extra security and storage options at a low price.

Bitwarden for me but I pay Ł10 or so to support development.
Google PW manager is free.
Browser based though. So not ideal.

If Dashlane can 'pull' passwords from the browser, surely that's an issue with the browser, not Dashlane?
The other issue for browser based password management is that it’s not going to autofill passwords in apps on your iPhone. If there’s a better or cheaper option that will synch across all Apple devices and do apps as well as web, I’d be interested to know about it.
If you are 100% apple then iCloud Keychain is the best, especially with family password sharing.
If you use chrome then passwords.google.com is superb
If you mix and match then Bitwarden
It gets annoying when you use iCloud for apps but chrome for passwords and Bitwarden for catch all when iOS only allows two options for autofill
iCloud Keychain won’t store passwords for apps. It will fill in log-ins on Safari, but you’ll be stuck when an app asks for a password, or you want to generate one and store it at the same time. While it’s not always perfect, Dashlane can do that.Quote:

But when open a bonafide iOS app like BA/Avios it logs me in correctly and after password resets asks if it should update the iCloud Keychain entry
I let mine run out and renewed for $30 a few days later
