Parking in Aldeburgh, Suffolk?
I've booked a short Easter break in Aldeburgh, Suffolk, in a house on the High Street but parking seems to be a problem, i.e. there is none at the house and the High Street is double yellows.
Has anyone been there or knows the town and can give me a few pointers about where best to leave the car? We'll be doing day trips so I'll be moving the car regularly.
Cheers in advance :smile-new:
Parking in Aldeburgh, Suffolk?
As said before there are two main carparks, fort green (towards the sailing clubs) and Thorpe road (towards the Thorpeness). I believe you can get a weeks season ticket for £10 for all long stay and seafront car parks from the tourist information. There is also free parking in front of the white lion but that is taken very quickly.
Having a holiday property also on the high street I know the problems, although we have off road parking invariably there is always more than one car around.
