I’m considering buying a watch off Chrono24 from a private seller based in Germany. I’m conversing in pidgin German with him. The seller has asked me whether there are any special procedures like customs forms etc. that he will need to complete to ship to the UK. Any advice from those in the know? How to say it in German would be an added bonus! Thank you.
Yes, he will have to complete a CN23 customs form stating the contents and value etc of the parcel. When he prints a shipping label from the courier website (for example DHL in this case) the customs form will pop up automatically and can be completed online. Bear in mind that you will be paying VAT (and some fees) based on the value stated on the customs form, so you have to add that to price you agreed with the seller. Hope this helps.

Superb watch. There is something about watches from the seventies. It might have been the decade that taste forgot but I think that watches are the exception that proves the rule.
Probably the best packaged watch I've ever received....vaccuum packed!
