Which of these would you particularly like to see a special edition of? Seiko of course already out of the gates with the Laurel as a limited edition released this month.

For me any Rolex will likely be pics in magazines - we may get Kermit2 or Platona2, and they'll most likely be unobtanium from the moment of announcement. Seamaster could be really interesting, and would love to see a re-release of the early models as has been discussed elsewhere in the forum. The Heuer Carrera too - the original re-releases were sensitively done and great looking watches - but would likely need something different as a special edition for an anniversary model?

The BPFF 70th is another that’s featuring in articles, 210 to be made, 70 for each of three global regions, or something like that.

I have a 1960s Carrera, I think I’d be quite happy to change it for an updated version as parts and servicing are becoming harder for vintage.

The Fifty Fathoms looks good. Too much dial text and slightly weird dimensions (42.5mm diameter, 21.5mm lug width) but I think it'll wear really well. I previously had a 40mm FF and felt it was too small for the design - the style of bezel made the dial feel small and with the short lugs, it wore like a 38mm IMO. 42.5mm should be perfect. The main issue is the lack of availability and cost: 18.5k Euros!

I'd like to see a 40th anniversary reissue of the first Swatch I bought, in 1984. Given that it's not a particularly classic or sought-after model I'm sure there's no prospect of this actually happening, of course. But it was plain dark brown case, strap and dial, no numerals or markers, gold hands. Lovely watch. I broke it and chucked it.

The 40mm BBFFs really are perfect. And the mil spec and Barakuda are beautiful dials. I’m very interested in the upcoming 40mm versions coming this year.

Out of interest, how does one get the notifications for these BPFF releases? Just sign up to the BP newsletter? I don't do FB, Insta, or the rest. I might be tempted by their future 70th releases (the text put me off this one, which might seal my fate for the others too - if I stood a chance in the 1st place!).
