I mean a proper complication, beyond a date, GMT or chronograph, which are all pretty common place. I don't, as my most complicated watch is a GMT.
It would be interesting to see them.

Funnily enough I have just posted something about the complications worn last year here (if the link works): https://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.p...=1#post6169272
Obviously picture of the watches are a lot more interesting than the charts.
Does this belong here?

Does a tourbillon qualify, even if it is completely useless in a wristwatch https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...81d797384a.jpg

Did You Know That: A Tourbillon Is Not A Complication

Actually those are amazing value for money.

This thread is becoming very TRF, all we need now is a pic taken inside the cabin of a 911.
Hublot 'Invisible Bang' watch with self cloaking complication https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6ab15edde5.jpg
Unfortunately away in Switzerland at the moment. It sustained a crack in the glass and in my naïveté I thought it would be a simple matter of inserting a new glass. However this was not the case and it had to go back to Patek for a full service and to ensure there was no damage to the movement

^^^Nice watch, but I see we share similar photographic skills.
Here is a similar one that will help to balance affairs being a 'touch' cheaper!

Omega X-33 - multifunction space watch - UTC; MT; MTA; UTA; Countdown/Countup; Day, Month, Hour, Min, Sec. and more. Passed NASA test for space flight.
How about a mechanical depth gauge? Not part of the movement of course.

This has to be a shoo-in for anyone into complications

A quick picture of my two.
Just my humble Longines Heritage Conquest 7751 based watch, which sports central chronograph seconds, central date hand, day of the week, month, 30 minutes chronograph counter, 12 hours chronograph counter, moonphase indicator and 24 hour time.

Not the most complicated, but this has day, date and month, and 24hr indicator.

Does being filled with oil count as a complication? Or the bubble, perhaps?

Time zone/world timers/GMTs are my favourite complications. Those two Omegas of Mr Curta’s look perfect.
My JLC Duometre Travel Time throws in jump hours on the ‘travel’ time zone, which is independently adjustable to the minute. The ‘globe’ moves with the timezone and shows day/night in that zone as well.
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...a62d8f2d87.jpg
The movement also has two separate mainspring barrels, one for each timezone, but regulated by the same escapement, so that operating one doesn’t interfere with the other. There are also two power reserve indicators, but everything is wound and operated from a single crown (and two pushers to move the timezone by an hour at a time).
A JLC watchmaker explained it to me but I still don’t quite get how it all works independently but connected. It looks pretty though.

Completely subjective, but I do like JLC’s general approach to complications.
Hodinkee did a write up here : https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/ha...ue-travel-time
Obviously I don't own it, but the George Daniels' Space Traveller has to take the biscuit on the complications front.

I am quite surprised that over the (probably) thousands of members, so few complications have been shown.
How about a complete calendar or a flyback Chrono

There are chronographs, and then there are chronographs....
backlash-free gears; proprietary horizontal clutch mechanism; instantaneous jumping minutes; snail reset cams; overwind protection, and proprietary regulation mechanism. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...da8923b885.jpg

I’d like a GMT hand on a chronograph but they seem like hensteeth outside vintage jobbies.
