Nice to see another St Exupéry on the forum!

I rather like the look of some of vintage pieces, just not something I could see myself wearing on a regular basis.
Just one IWC for me: the 41mm Pilot Chrono. It seems to wears a lot better than the 43mm 7750-based variant which I had previously. The newer bracelet with the on-the-fly micro-adjust is well worth having (although as Tony mentioned above, it's eye-wateringly expensive as a later add-on), and the EasX-change system is handy for popping off the bracelet and getting a NATO on without worrying about scratching the lugs (or sticking it on leather/rubber if that's your thing).

This is my only IWC now. A beautiful watch. I did own a Yacht Club Chrono which was just magnificent.
have you seen what this fellow can do?

his instagram account is better but he can work wonders.
Big IWC Fan aswell, i have that watch and also have the leather easX as an add on, but the bracelet is so good i never feel the need to use it. Got a portuguese chrono 12 years ago when we got engaged white dial blue hands. So those are the two at the moment. Have also owned a number of top guns down the years.
My one and only IWC - the 3717-02
I’d like a Mark 18 to accompany it.

I do like the 1990s IWC very much, had I been into watches then, they would have had much of my interest.
I only have one, and it’s a very old Cal 89.
Wore it on my wedding day, so the boss would never allow me to sell it.

Some good watches on the thread so far. Sadly, quite a few from the dreadful Georges Kern era, too.
Still love this one.

The new spitfire chrono is smaller at 41mm you should give it a try.

They are indeed very nice. A couple of members here have lovely examples in 18k rose gold (one used to be mine).
As I'm here I'll throw in my only remaining IWC, a Tritium 3536

Just to harken back a bit further, here is my IWC from 1946 with a calibre 88 inside.
Purchased from a boot sale for £3 about 20 years ago it is all original including the fish crown!
I had the movement serviced but have never worn it more than a couple of times over the years.

Is there anyone out there with an Ingenieur Jumboo? The pre 3227 ones?
My Mark XVI is currently with the Watch Doctors as it was running very oddly, turns out it's had a leak through the crown seal at some point in its life. So it's having a full strip down, rebuild, new reversers and a light case refinish.
Sadly they can't get parts for it as IWC control them so the WR may be limited, but at least it'll run right. I'm not sending it to IWC as they quoted £960 plus VAT! Not spending half the value of the watch for a service.
A bit of a bummer, although I would normally get a piece serviced anyway. It was running between +7 and +15 a day, however I still wore it every day for months. :smile-new:
It'll be fine when it comes back I'm sure. Thankfully it's an ETA movement so easy to sort.
Here are my two, love them both!

Very nice indeed. What a fantastic trio.
It's described as an IWC caliber 35100, a no-date automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve. I think it's basically a Sellita adjusted by IWC. Which is fine by me, to be honest - easier servicing and currently running at just under +1 SPD.
Another photo of JC Aquatimer as requested ….

I was wearing my lovely Zenith Tipo, but after seeing all these beauties I had to get this one out.
Someone called my watch entry level. :popcorn2:
No its eactley what I wanted.
Everything black I photograph with my phone seems to go blue so I made it B&W.
