Stunning watch
They had this in the JLC boutique when I popped in yesterday....for some reason the bezel was covered in noticeable scratches....maybe it was a prototype or something but I found it rather odd.
Holy thread resurrection !
This is now discontinued I believe - has anyone owned one or own one ?
Reliable ? Service costs ? I note that Rolex had a dead beat automatic in the past and it was fairly unreliable.
Tis indeed a zombie resurrection? I did have one for a while but not long enough to comment on reliability or service costs. I think JLC publish their service costs online so you could check there. I had the world time for a while

Superb craftsmanship. I think JLC is under rated.
Garrick have introduced a deadbeat too. https://garrick.co.uk/products/s2-timepiece
Weirdly, shortly after this thread was started, I was commissioned to write about that JlC.

Looking back, it needs a decent edit, and most of the photos seem to have disappeared. But there’s still *some* useful info in there. Probably.
