That 222 is beautiful!
The best of both worlds; the Eddy in a new jacket. Best Speedmaster out there. Congrats!
Second one of these in yesterday after the recent seiko didn’t work out

Cheers guys. Will try and get a side by side with the RO at some point.
Fred, I got the Sainsbury’s parking fine in the post today. Hope you didn’t get one too!
I like my Tissot PRX, and I like that I don't care about every tiny whisper of a scratch I give it.
I've the smaller quartz and it sits on the wrist very comfortably.
You spend a hell of a lot more time feeling a watch sat on you than you spend looking at it, and so how a watch sits seems to be the important thing if a watch wants to stick with me.
A 35mm Nomos didn't last, because it sat badly on me; a 42mm Nivrel lasted years, and that somehow felt very easy. Must all be in the lugs....
On assumption you overstayed in the parking lot, email Sainsburys customer service and explain you were using the store but were delayed to 'xyz' reason (elderly parent, meeting a friend in-store for a coffee, whatever...). Supermarkets almost always cancel the ticket for you unless you're a repeat offender. You'll have no luck if you go through the formal appeal process through the 3rd party parking company.
DPD just made a delivery. A lot of bang for your buck, I'm liking this a lot.

Missed out on the original release. Finally found one at a sensible price. https://thumbsnap.com/i/fzuznYk6.jpg

Found in the display for sale in the local Tudor Boutique. Really missed the first on I had, hopefully can hold on to this one a bit longer!

Picked up something funky from my watchmaker today. A early c case Heuer with a valjoux 7734 movement. Unsigned but I am guessing it is an early Carrera. Not my usual style but I love the pumpkin patina on the lume which complements the orange chrono hand.

Since my Seiko Presage somehow saw off my Globemaster and my Tangente, it needed rescuing from its title of beater, with something else taking over that role.
I tried to buy a PRS-10, the latest version with sapphire and 100m WR, but no one was selling, and EP has no plans atm to make another batch.
My specs were: dark dial, full set of numerals, excellent readability, thin, 100m WR, 36-38mm, non-long lugs with brushed tops, quartz or manual.
I got this from Jomashop, the clearance dealers in the US. Inc delivery and and taxes, it was just under $200. It took a week to get to me. 37mm and 7.5mm thick.

It came with a deployant and an allifakor strap, which I took off immediately, and replaced with this 11 quid SecTime Special. All together, 50g.
PS most the time it looks quite a lot darker than that
Ok, I might have got carried away with my new love for Tudor and bought a used Black Bay Blue! [emoji2357]
Pics and impressions to come once it’s arrived.
I’m wondering if 39mm will be a bit small for me, but I do love to look etc
Oh and one more thing, don’t tell my wife [emoji23]

I missed out on the PRS-14 that sold (twice) on here recently.
However, I have managed to get my hands on one (off forum):

Just received from First Class Watches - SPB381J1 - difficult in some lights to capture the green but it's a gorgeous shade in real life.

Nice that Rajen
Loving the new G-Shock recycled paper packaging. Not sure if it’s the new standard, or just for these 40th anniversary models.

I quite like it- beginning with size 42 mm, slopping lugs, not too tall.
No crown guards, slightly concave bezel with concentric rings, nicely knurled crown and faceted case, grainy texture on dial and vintage inspired accents. Everything gels together nicely.Lume is good, bezel action crisp, and winding smooth. No flairs but cohesive simplicity.
This just came but I might get it serviced, no history and no box.
PS
The original bracelet with a sliding clasp is horrible to wear. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...21b46844a3.jpg

Not generally an Eterna fan but I do like that. Nice pick up.

I thought the search might take a while. Found one at a good price within a week!
Grabbed another vintage a heuer to go with last weeks acquisitions again don’t know too much about it. It’s a 7733 cal. If anyone knows what it is I’m all ears.

I got a bit carried away with my love for Tudor and I went and bought a BB 58 Blue[emoji2357][emoji1787]
I was bit concerned about it being a 39mm watch as I prefer over 40mm usually but it wears lovely on the wrist and looks amazing.
Here’s a quick pic

A change of direction for me. I’ve thought about adding one for years.
It’s a scratch magnet but I’m loving it!
