That's the problem with this place!
I do like this, very good homage to the original

Purchased yesterday to replace my old SO44, the new SuperOcean II 44. Absolutely stunning piece IMO, and quite an improvement over the old one, complete with BEZEL PIP.

Cheers.
Said I'd post this at the weekend. Bought it last Monday but working away all week and only got my hands on it on Friday

My new Longines Hydroconquest. 39mm, quartz, my new holiday watch.
It looks like I have been fortunate in that I appear to have managed to get the bracelet to fit first time.
Another Breitling added to my collectionhttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/03...fb60aa61de.jpg

Got an incoming fairly soon but just had to post as I can't wait and I'm really hoping it lives up to expectations.
ETA around 13th April so check in for some pics and to see if it delivers......
Have a vintage Constellation incoming... hope it is a good 'un!
My very first Breitling was added to my collection recently. Given the vast range that Breitling produce, I was wavering between various models.
In the end I decided to go the Navitimer route and chose a Navitimer 01 43mm as shown in the excellent photo from RossC.

Another one of Eddie's; not my first or last but currently only one. First impressions are that its up to his usual high standards and just a little bit different to the norm.
I'm thinking it may have been even better without the day/date.

I've been interested in these for quite a while, but as they are quite hard to come by, I have not been able to try or purchase one. Couple of weeks ago I was in Hong Kong for business and also checked out a few watch shops. I got to see and handle GS watches for the first time and they left a good impression. Well, as I got back, practically the same day there was one for sale on SC - and I jumped at it instantly. Wooster sent this to me by DHL and I've just had the bracelet shortened to fit. The feel of quality is outstanding on this.

Apologies for crappy pics during drunken cab ride home. Sedna Gold/SS Omega Globemaster http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...0b2c45421f.jpg
I had a bit of buyers remorse before it arrived but the more time I spend with it, the better it gets!
Better pic in light http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...5d8d7bb773.jpg
Very nice Ryan. Is the datewheel black or blue out of interest?
Hi. It's black. It's not really noticeable but would have preferred blue
Stunning watch Ryan, still waiting to see one at my AD.
This will probably be my shortest incoming. Lovely old 168.019 calibre 751 Constellation but in the 3 hours since it has arrived it has lost nearly 15 minutes, so back to the seller. Doubt he will offer to re-service, despite being freshly done, so will probably just end up with a refund and a new search beginning!

I thought the same when it was going through the design stages… I understand how is looks like a counter on the dial though, so works in that respect.
It is quiet close to the centre of the dial, but I imagine that is limited by the movement. An interesting feature on A Blog to Watch on date designs and how older movements and larger fashion in case design do not go hand in hand.

I have had this one on for a little over a week now... and its a unique beauty at that! Maybe a one off, blasted Seafire. A really good trade deal went through with Julian, he got a SK007 for a project he is working on and a decent PVD quartz beater and I got the PRS-37 a model I always wanted to try. I was intrigued to see what this quartz movement is like and it doesn't disappoint. In fact as a whole I'm more impressed with the Seafire than I thought I would be.
I love that it is showing off its battle scars proudly and means I also don't have to worry to much about adding extra myself!

It's a quality NATO strap - really thick and the green really pings.
Its a well documented watch and how it got to its current state:

That's my old watch and Quatar Wal's before me. I was shocked to see it getting beaten up so badly by Velorum but was pleased to see its transformation.
I was worried that the black shadow would be too similar to the seafire and I'd not gel with it but, fortunately for me, that isn't happening.
Really impressed with this.

I have had this one for a few days now, but thought it worth a share as it's a little different.
I am no photographer so apologies for the dust and rubbish lighting!

Just in, been trying various straps before the inevitable strapcode bracelet

Recent purchase from SC. Wears a bit bigger than the 39mm might suggest but it's actually really growing on me over the last 2 days.

This is new to me.
It very nearly didn't happen, as the package was incomplete.
But now I am happy to say, that everything is "A" ok :)
It still has it stickers on, as tomorrow I am going to try and put it on a Rubber B.
