Oooooooh... That would be useful knowledge if/when I need to have the vials replaced. Although, having all blue vials would be very cool too.
Thanks for the info!

Well, a couple of reasons. :)
1) I live in the US, so sending it to the UK would entail customs fees both directions, 2) I prefer to support my "local" watchmaker, with whom I've done a lot of...
I know this is an extremely old thread, but I picked up a Traser P6500 about 9 months ago after reading Crusader's review and comments. It had been my daily wearer on a black NATO ever since.

No. 101 here.
Eddie,
Thank you for the information.
FYI, Speedbird III, Black Dial, SN 09010101 is on my wrist right now. Utterly fantastic piece of work you have created. It has kicked off an Omega...
Eddie,
Looks interesting!
How much green is there in that dial? The photo looks like it's a little darker than the SB2's ivory?
Thanks,
-j
Ah, again I am screwed by the massive incompetence at UPS.
Original arrival date: Dec. 5.
Rescheduled date: Dec. 8.

Weird, I got the same error. Huh. I'm in Illinois; maybe UPS saw the upcoming snow and freaked out. I wouldn't be surprised...
And mine's ordered.
Thanks, Eddie!

I got Eddie'd!
:D
What else will you need to do after "hav[ing] them by the end of next week" that would slow down availability beyond the end of next week, such as packaging?
Thanks ;)
Eddie,
Any idea when the SBIII might come back into stock?
Thanks,
-Jon
Did anyone notice the spec on the page says the crystal is a domed ACRYLIC?
Typo, or change in spec?
-j
Eddie: Yes.
How did I do????
=D

Thanks for the catch and the update, Eddie.
Better to catch it now than after distribution.

Oh gosh, Eddie. I really, really, really, like it.
It seems more visually balanced than the original, in fact.
Hope you'll give us a little forewarning before it goes up for sale.

Bracelet, schmacelet. This watch was meant to be worn on a strap. ;)
Eddie, I think I have in mind a nice black buffalo leather strap... or maybe light honey tan ostrich... hmm.... or blue...
Oh good jeebus holy mary mother of God.
The SBIII fixed everything I didn't like about the SBII and kept all the good things that I liked.
Must have. Egads.

Uh, is there a FACE photo that I missed somewhere?
The caseback is definitely attractive, sir, but I very, very, very, rarely look at the caseback to determine the current time.
Thank you.

Ah, it was too much to hope for, I guess? ;)
No matter, I can wait.
>strained silence<
I don't want to, though.

When it comes to something as cool as the SB3, I shall be blind to the words "after that".
;)
-jon
Um.
So it's first-come-first-grab?
"Interesting" is a word that makes me very uncomfortable.
;)

If it's active, I would buy at least two.
The normal 17C hasn't left my wrist for a while now except to shower... I'd definitely go for the 17C-MT.

I think this is the same solution as the EZM-1's Mission Timer (MT) setup.
It also has neither an hour totalizer nor a constant seconds for the sake of clarity.
Of course, being a mechanical...
Thanks again everyone for the great replies!
ditchdigger,
Thanks for the thought and the offer! That 394 is surprisingly hard to find here in the states. Energizer doesn't seem to even have an...
I think the PRS-18/MMT/Benrus Type II can look pretty good with the straight endlinks. I have one coming in in a few months; I'll post pics. ;)
