Half tempted to try that naan pizza one day.
Obviously not one for the purists. If there was ever one post that may tempt Raffe to come out of retirement that could be it haha!
Legend!!!
Loving the maths P, that does put it into context and another reason to enjoy this hobby.
However, have you factored in the expensive Italian peels!? [emoji14]
Brings back some memories...I was doing that for so long and couldn't work out why my pizzas always tasted slightly bitter at times.
This is an unbelivable thread and thanks to all those who put...
Icey nuts reporting back. What I didn’t bargain on was the rain starting after pizza no 2. So it was icey nuts and rainy head.
Luckily it wasn’t all that cold and all the prep was inside - just...
Pitch, I have also used the bread flour in the past and it was fine. Not quite at Caputo level, but v. good nonetheless. I have tried Alllinson's and also Doves Farm. Both were good, Dove's Farm...
Oh dear, what have you got us on Pitch. I only have an outdoor oven so this should be fun...
Better get on Ocado and add some Galbani!
Sounds brilliant. I often find it stressful catering for a group = pressure.
However, this approach sounds fun. May have to give it a go one day.
We have definitely all been there. Part of the fun.
Best of luck for next attempt!
Good naan recipe must give it a go.
Assume it’s better to stay away from the pizza oven and stick to a pan?
Would love to diversify the pizza oven usage somehow.

Wow looks fantastic.
Will give that a go.
Homemade garlic butter or cheating and buying lurpak? My plan was to cheat.
Thanks, will report back.
Great - will give this a go.
You just put a few knobs of butter on the raw dough, or you baked it a few seconds first?
Anybody used a dough ball to make garlic bread in the pizza oven? How did it go and any tips?
It is called Pizza Party. Takes around 25 mins to get up to 500 degrees+ at the stone.
Pizza Party performed really well today. Very impressed.
Thanks Raffe for the advice and encouragement on these ovens.
The consistency from pizza to pizza is perfect and reminds me of the F1....
Looks great Raffe!
Didn't realise the stretch should be such a stretch. When I do it, my stretching is much less of a stretch, something like this...Having said that, I haven't dared upping the...
Lovely looking pizza RyanB.
Meantime the PP getting it’s first fire up today to cure the stone.
First cook tomorrow and dough is proving.

We must be talking about different products. See my links above. I am referring to pizzeria red vs pizzeria blue.
You have linked to a different red packaged flour.
I’ve got some news Raffe. It is the same. I emailed them and they replied as below. So I guess the colour difference is simply marketing for retail vs. wholesale.
...
Thanks. Have been doing a bit more research on this. I wonder if this whole red vs. blue thing may just be a red herring:

Thanks Raffe.
Will stick to red in that case as it seems to be easier to get hold of at the moment.
Chaps, what is the difference between Caputo red and blue?
Been using red recently (from Ocado) but may buy a bulk batch now!
Thought I could spot those semolina specs on the crust, looks good.
