Watching Rod Ismay today. Seems like a great candidate for an 'Oh dear' thread. Yet another of those that held a senior position and yet appears bereft of any competence.

Well, my two favourite CPs never bothered to question Mr Singh :(
Even Jason Beer must be glad that's over. His overall look of exasperation was plain for all to see.
J Singh is really being put through the ringer by counsel today. It'll be all out war when the CPs get their turn!
Sorry, I've confused matters!
It was the inquiry counsel that was referring to documents which contained these criminal cases. He was trying to further shed light on the failures of the Horizon...
Indeed. I don't disagree. It just seemed a bit odd that counsel would refer to them during defensive 'arguments'.
Bit of an odd day at the inquiry today.
There have been several disclosures where it is shown that SPMs, or their family/staff, have actually committed crimes. I'm not sure where the questioning...
Well, AvdB was a cold cookie. Brazen. Deflected everything.
Next up (mainly) for me is Jarnail Singh at the end of next week. Then it's a bit of wait for the main event, PV.
I also see that...
Indeed, that is often the best part and definitely worth the wait. The gloves really come off.
I've not really been paying too much attention to it this morning.........but the alternative 'wording' email piqued my interest a lot. With every witness that stands we can see more and more...
Yep, it's very engrossing!

Crumbs. I desperately needed the lunch break and I'm only watching! It's like a train wreck happening in front of your eyes.
Big time. And wait until the SPMs solicitors get their chance at the end. I suspect it won't be pretty.
I am old yep, but not necessarily 'fashioned' lol
The inquiry process will be an incredibly stressful ordeal for the interviewees. Some are coping with it better than others. This guy, imo, is not...
^^^ Valid commentary yes.
Funnily enough, I found his understanding of the term 'straight bat', to be exactly the same as mine i.e., 'to be honest'. I therefore had no issue with that.

It's actually painful to watch the questioning of R Williams. He's being mentally put through the ringer, though I'm not sure if he realises how bad it all looks for him. His demeanour is all over...
Rodric Williams today.
OMFG .......... it's a frickin clown show
PO investigator Jon Longman is one heck of a squirmy dude (I'm being very polite). Ducking and diving around everything. Totally out of his depth and was ripped to shreds in the end.
Man, every...
The sound seems to have been fixed now :)
Yeah, lots of 'can't remember' going on this morning. I don't feel that D Miller is impressing anyone.
<that said, I can't remember what I did...
Is anyone watching the inquiry live atm? The sound seems to have gone very 'buzzy'.........don't think it's my PC.
Lawyers also have a lot to answer for (probably for the defence too in those early days, but then again they were up against the malicious, deceitful, might of the PO)
...
I've been watching everything, every day. It's fascinating and incredibly troubling at the same time.
I find it hard to get my head around the structure of the PO and the Royal mail. It's an inept...
Jail the lot of them, empty their bank accounts, immediately - Ministers involved, PO execs etc etc.......then let them fight for their innocence. That treatment seemed to be ok for the Post Masters.
