That dial, combined with the applied indices, is pretty impressive and novel. Beautiful.

I second that … I always like the cleaner face of a non-date (although I do have many watches with - it’s hard to avoid).
I don’t see any harm in passing it on to be worn if it’s a bad fake. I mean … the risk with the super clones is that they get sold on as real - but this? Unlikely. That being said, I wouldn’t pass it...
Stainless for me also - but only because I’d be worried about long term ‘rub’ to the black.
Won’t you end up needing a summer hole and a winter hole? Or is it just me that has swelled wrists!
I have one ... and to be honest with you it is all I need. A Smiths PRS29b, high dome. As a 'vet' it is a prized reminder of my service, with a lot of cool factor built in. ETA moment, sapphire,...
I agree. I think 'silly' is the best word for this. I'm not really sure on what the purpose is unless, as someone observed, the spotting in unique to each watch. I doubt this but have no evidence for...
Well, there is at least two of us in that category. You can’t buy them, and even *if* you can, you can’t wear them … so what’s the point? I’ve recently got into a bit of a GS groove … beautifully...
Looks good, and if you’re happy, go for it. Personally, I’d choose one of the older simpler / sleeker models on the second hand market and get 99% the bling at X% the price. Good luck and enjoy...

Logically it will depend upon the legislation of the country of manufacture and/or how the watches are ‘sold into’ a country with differing legislation? Just a thought.
This post has motivated me to tidy up my own collection. I’ve always thought I need one watch for each of the following cases : 1 x Dinner party, 1 x Friendly BBQ, 1 x Work, 1 x Garage/Garden/DIY!
Stupid question … the bezel insert is plastic, right?
BBC Top Gear did a car piece where Hammond (I think) got to pull the ‘rip cord’. I always wondered if they had a minor bump in sales post it hitting the air.
I get accused of that all the time! I try to post no more than once a year … yet still … ;)
I think that's excellent service. In fairness I find service within the broader Swatch Group generally good. Very different to the LVMH group and Zenith. In my experience they offer terrible service.
It’s really interesting that a lot of the requests (the majority?) are under the Smiths brand. Personally I can see why - I really like the brand and history. ‘Branding’ is always a personal thing by...
So, my post above is off the mark. They have the numbers for SC (I should have checked before posting above). That being said … +2 to my post count in one day. I may need a lie down.
They may not have the posts to do so. Despite being a forum member for a looonnnggg time, and having bought many watches on SC (thank your sellers and Eddie), I’ve still not cracked the number of...
I'm not sure which is the biggest crime. Keeping the cars in such a shocking state, or trespassing to view them.
Depending upon your budget I would seriously consider Intel NUCs.
It's ... a 'no' from me.
"...open to the first ten customers". In total, or per day? I know it may seem a daft question but ....
The 'Freshwater'. Exactly the one that caught my eye also. 'Fresh' indeed!
I can't say I follow IWC models that much (despite having a Yacht Club) but 'their' red on the hands always looks more vibrant to me than when it's used by other brands - and I just love that detail.
