That is if you decide to put a number that's on retention onto a vehicle. The number that gets displaced doesn't go on to retention, it kind of disappears.
When you then decide to take that number...
This tells you what you need to do
https://www.gov.uk/personalised-vehicle-registration-numbers/take-private-number-off
You take the number off by putting it "on retention", and are issued with...
I'm very glad you asked it as I was wondering the exact same thing!
Great.
I have to admit that I've started to look at cars that are enjoyable, sufficiently reliable, and not too expensive to fix if they go wrong.
My Yaris has the benefit of a 10 year...
To add to my earlier comments...
Despite being a big car with a small engine, my 1.4 Superb Combi is faster 0-60 and has a higher top speed than my light as a crisp packet 1.9GTi hot hatch was...
The 3 nicest biking days of the year so far and I'm shivering under the duvet with COVID.
IT'S NOT FAIR!
I've got a 2018 Superb 1.4
First mechatronic went at 25,000 miles (£1,600 to fix), replacement has failed at 46,000 miles. Part is now £2k plus fitting.
Saw a car on the M5 yesterday OL15 TEN, spaced as O LISTEN.

Not the biggest modification, but today we went from this...

I've got a Cambridge Audio 540p I'd happily post in exchange for a fundraiser donation.
At least i will if I can find out where Mrs Gyp has tidied the power supply
Not blutooth, but Rega Planar plus green grade might be worth considering

Hugely tempted by this offer but there's just too many bit bills on the horizon at the moment. If I could just buy the trousers I'd be all over it
:-)
It's been such a long time since I'd experienced it, I'd forgotten how horrible the cold water dribbling down into my boots felt.
Someone must make obese dwarf motorcycling trousers. I must...
I have remarkably wet testicles.
And another MOTed bike.
On balance, that's an acceptable trade off
R80 passed its MOT today despite monsoon conditions. Only 4 more to do.
Street Scrambler in for MOT tomorrow, expect snowdrifts and plagues of locusts.
Ah, no. I've not owned one, but I did test ride one of the TVS generation bikes a while back.

Loved the chassis/suspension, found the engine a little too...
Popped into the T5 shop a couple of weeks ago asking if they had a titanium Yachtmaster for me to try.
No, not had one, and suggested that the only way I'd get to see one would be to fly to...
It looks great and I'm sure it'll be fine.
I did - I rode one of the current generation. The one in the picture is an earlier Garner era bike.
Hang on until I get home from work and I'll share my thoughts
Sounds like I can sleep safe in my bed :-)
Thanks all!

There was no sign on the post on Friday, just a light at the top of it.
Can I confirm my understanding of this bit of road?

Is this...
Would be interesting.
I spotted a delivery mileage pre reg fully loaded one that lists at £25,700 and the dealer has it up at £15k. Clearly not moving.
I was fairly ambivalent about the R18 when I tried it.
I notice now very low mile demos or pre reg being offered by dealerships for £8k-£10k below list.
At that price they almost make sense.
