Congratulations. Lovely car. Enjoy the miles and smiles ahead.
Haha! Sharing a hobby is great, maybe just a cheaper one.
Very light ones yes but you will see them. Ceramic coating is basically a very very thin layer of a glass like coating. It still scratches and gets swirls but it stops those marks happening on the...
Technology has moved on a lot in recent years and there are some good products out there. Generally independent detailers have the best products and do the best job applying it. Some products claim...
I will also add my first watch was running 3-4 spd slow and I asked for it to be regulated to run more accurately and ideally fast. Cheeky maybe but don’t ask don’t get. My new watch runs 0 to plus 1...
Completely agree, it’s great to know there is that level of service should it be required.
It’s back! Well sort of. I was given a brand new watch built with the learings from examining the issuues with the watch I sent in.
It only took 7 weeks from initial point of contact to getting...
Ha! Spot on.
Not brands so much as the watches. If the bb58 gmt was a Pepsi or even the opolone dial in think that would be very sought after. Right watch with wrong colour scheme for many.
Agree. The proportions even on the 58 are slab sided but much better than the larger watches. The best proportioned side in Tudor in the sports collection is the Pelagos 39.
Agree. Still can’t get to grips with the fake rivets. That having owned 2 58’s and a 41 GMT. At least this one comes as optional rubber and jubilee bracelet. Even with that it’s far too vintage...
Very easy to refinish yourself.
My Pelagos 39 marks as much or as little as my steel watches. I love the light weight of it. It makes it very comfortable.
A lot. I know of two people who have turned down watches. A sub and explorer 2 as the investment value is no longer there like it was. Neither were what you would call enthusiasts. I imagine these...
If you want a Porsche then as we all know it’s best to get a Porsche. I would just save up and get the one you want and buy the hands that keep pillaging the funds to deter them 🤪
I have seen reviews and all say the same. The boot space off the rs4 is surprisingly small.
If I wanted a 911 I would never consider a Macan but again I guess it depends on your use case for the car. If I wanted a very practical fast car that handles well it would be Audi rs4/6.
Is it just me that thinks cross shopping a 911 and a Mscan is very odd? They are very different cars with very different use cases.
I have heard the same for a chap that details mainly Porsches. He stated the 981 and 991 are better built than the later models in terms of solidity of the cabin. Also, small things like heated...
Yes different front bumper on the GTS. It would be fine as a road car and daily driver. Could be wrong but think it has the same suspension setup as my s that has PASM. GTS models hold value very...
My first Porsche is my current fun car. Cayman 981 s and I love it. Specced well they are an absolute joy. Sound epic, look superb, surprisingly practical and handle very well indeed. I don’t need...
Unless the EV market turns around Jaguar won’t be making anything in the future. It was a very bold decision to go full electric when they did.
Agree, I have been chasing a white dial watch to add to my small collection. When the time comes this will be a contender.
I’m liking the Delugs rubber CTS strap.
