A friend of mine has one, the green sunburst dial with the newer movement. It's a really nice watch but not long after he bought it the time keeping went right off. He sent to Oris under warranty and...
I saw that thanks, definitely 10k oil/filter changes.
Glad you got it sorted, just goes to show how a knowledgeable indi is worth their weight in gold.
Actually, I think I read somewhere that it is in fact subject to a recall in the USA. They tend not to get screwed over like we do in the UK.
Absolutely don't leave the oil/filter change more than...
I can absolutely see your point, but doesn't really suit my personal circumstances at the moment. To be clear, I'm not looking at new, but want it to tide me over the next 3-4 years at which point we...
Ah, another JLR user. From what I've read elsewhere, there was a change, certainly to the petrol Ingenium, with the MY19 engines. My understanding with the timing gear is that it was a lubrication...
I think that turned out to have been diagnosed by a mechanic who knew what he was talking about to be vvt solenoid.
The launch Evoque had a Ford petrol engine and a 2.2d that wasn't too bad. It was the diesel Ingenium that everyone was talking about, and not in a good way. There were far fewer petrol engines...
Research, personal experience or anecdote? Genuinely interested, not trying to be glib, I've tried to ask a genuine question. I was hoping for similar replies.
I really don't know what's up with me, but I'm thinking of downsizing to the above.
I know enough to steer well clear of the diesel ingenium engine, but am I right in thinking that the petrol...
Bit late to the party but here's mine;

Agreed, ruinously expensive though!
Good spot, rubbish photo I'm afraid. It was extremely hot and humid and I was losing the will to live although the orchids were lovely.
Yep the North Beach Rd side, actually the taxi drop off/pick up. Mrs B likes them, I tend to keep to the Heineken myself.

A friend of mine went into the Breitling boutique in York to look at an Avenger. They could only offer a free strap. We went to Berry's round the corner and achieved 15% discount, so yes I think you...
Threads such as these are are really useful resource. I was buying a watch recently and Jura were the cheapest on-line. I had seen previous posts about poor service but still discounted using them....

My friend, who won't buy a watch if it's at all similar to anything else in his watch box, tells me mine are all the same, which is not entirely untrue, and the Certina is completely different. There...
Thanks, I am so far and after a bracelet watch it feels quite light.
The Baltic was a good shout it's just that I'm not a fan of the retro gilt/faux lume thing, same as the Doxa 200 Caribbean which...
I did have a look at CW and saw the Dartmouth with the faux aged lume which I'm not a fan of. I may have looked again if I had seen the Aquitaine.
The Tissot is a bit funky for my tastes thanks.
Cheers guys, I did try on a friends Mido OST and while it was very nice, it somehow felt a bit small and I was unconvinced by the bracelet. They do of course share the same movement.
I bought it...
And the winner is.......

Thanks for all your help guys. I can see me standing at the edge of a strap rabbit hole however.
