Lovely day today, went by bus to Bury St Edmunds, Cannon microbrewery and pub for lunch to include a pint of Black Pig 4.2% Stout, followed by a trip to Nethergate's 'Creche' for a pint of Eons 5.5%...
So many Beer Festivals about, If you're in South Suffolk Nethergate brewery have a grand little festival going on. Cheers, John B4

I wondered who actually brewed them, no indication on the bottles. Did a brewery tour and photographed Nephews wedding reception there too, at the time no indication that they were brewing/bottling...
Had a couple of "Heatherwoods" Porter from Lidl last evening, not only very cheap it's a lovely, almost traditional Stout, highly recommended if you like Stouts. Cheers, John B4

No Pics, but Mauldons Silveradder 4.2, light, hoppy, possibly my favourite beer (especially at their Brewery Tap) contenting myself with a 5 litre mini keg, Cheers, :drunken_smilie:John B4

As Off Licences now re-classified as "essential" my local brewery (Nethergate) has opened it's shop in a virtual way, e.g. you phone your order through, pay over the 'phone and twice weekly...
For the East Anglians amongst us, the Chappell Beer Festival is now on (till Sat), possibly the widest range of beers outside the GBBF. Cheers, John B4
