Have you looked at the Micra? It's less money and the size might suit better. If I was going LM (which I might) I'd go for the Micra rather than the Mini.

I have a Niche Zero grinder waiting for me at home. Looking forward to the unboxing next week.
Anyone who like their coffee with a bit of fruity funk should try their Rocko Mountain.

I've drunk gallons of it this season.

They specialise in single origin. They'll grind to your spec after roasting.
You should ask j0hnbarker how he's got on with his Rocket Apartamento (see his earlier posts).
I've had a Rocket for years and it's been superb.
Congratulations. Many hours of frustration and joy to come.
I got one of these this week to help with distribution.

I think with any hopper you should keep the weight of the beans in it consistent. My hopper is fairly small but when it's full it's still a third of a kilo pressing down on the beans as they're being...
Not great. I got some passable cold brew from them.
I won't be swapping them for my usual, even though theyre sometimes six times more expensive.
I bought 2kg of nastiness from Amazon and ran that through.

You might find your burrs take a while to bed in. I recently bought some new burrs and 3 or 4kg later they still haven't settled down fully.
Nice. I have a Eureka too. It's been very good.
What are they?
I have a Eureka 65e. Let's just say I wouldn't want to drop it on my foot without steel toe caps on.
Thanks.
What scale are you using there please?
It's behind a paywall, for me at least.
Blimey. It takes me 150g to dial a new coffee in half the time. [emoji52]
There are some great youtube videos on coffee techniques.
In the current circumstances I've been going to back to basics and my coffee has improved massively.
I use a cheap timer plug. The machine is thoroughly hot by the time I'm ready to use it.
£400 is pennies for an espresso machine.
In fact it's not really enough for one.
The build quality of the Rocket looks to be far superior.
The functionality of the HX system for the steam looks way better - no need to temperature surf, and you can brew and steam...
It's been great. I've had it almost four years and I've had no trouble with it whatsoever. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Rocket when the time comes.
I seriously thought about the Silvia when...
Yes.
