Sean Yates at Abouttime watch repair. Has done 5 of my watches, highly recommended.
Duncan at Genesis watchmaking always a very good shout too.

So, all three of Tudor's new efforts use a different design of crown, the GMT and Mono use a Rolex running second hand, snowflake on the gold BB58, rivets on steel Oyster bracelet but not gold or...
Vintage Heuer Carrera 2447. Valjoux 72 movement in what is the prettiest 35-36mm watch case ever IMO. Alternatively, for a lot less budget, the late 90’s CS3111 reissue.

^This. Hits the nail on the head for me. The founder’s overly smug musings do irritate me greatly these days. Fully appreciate the work he’s put in to get it to where it is now, but it just seems...
Another positive for Subdial from me. Sold an SMP to them last month, quoted offer was competitive and collection and transaction was smooth.

Long, long ago….. you used to be able to request the actual COSC cert, the one with all the rate info for your serial number, had one sent to me for my 2254.
Think they then started to charge...
Thanks to all so far, given me lots of good stuff looking forward to into.

Great pic, think that perfectly illustrates what the forum is getting at. That 43 looks massive, also don't like how the ceramic bezel inserts on all the modern stuff, regardless of case size, are...
I’d say that’s case closed then. Never thought to look there TBH. Nice spot.

I always thought he was Omega accredited but have a niggling memory of something on here to the contrary.
It’s plainly described in relation to Rolex/Tudor, otherwise not clear with Omega.
...
Actually, I don't believe Duncan is Omega accredited, sure I've read this on the forum some time ago and no mention on the Genesis website. I believe he must have a stock of Omega parts and from...
MK XV is a fantastic watch, the best ever of the MK series IMO. Really miss mine, another one to regret letting go of [emoji30]
