Thanks, Ian, for your comments and the link. You're right as well, it does look good on anything. I have seen the Speedy, in it's various forms, in bracelets and straps in various materials. I can't...
I never tire of hearing - or talking - about the Speedy. It definitely is one of the most beautiful watches ever designed.
The design, of course, is many things to many people. It is probably the...
Thank You so much for your time and effort. Well done! I look forward to your report each year.

Congratulations! I think that's a great choice. Even though you can't yet see it in person, I don't think you will be disappointed. Personally, I love the choice of the Cordura strap, it looks...
Congratulations for tomorrow! That is quite a colourful trio you have there. Enjoy the day.

You can't get much more hardcore than the Speedy IMO. Especially with the hesalite crystal:

I think it's a beauty myself. The new movement is apparently just excellent.
Mine is the Speedy Pro, with the hesalite crystal and manual wind movement. One of the things I like best is the...
I have to admit that DJ2 is gorgeous! Although I have the 38.5mm AT, which is my preferred size.
That DJ2, in that configuration, with blue, silver or black dial is the best looking DJ IMO. I was...
Thanks for the great pics. What a shopping trip that is, to the Burlington Arcade! It's years since I was last in London, but the BA is always one of my destinations. Actually, there and Regent...
Very nice "little" watch. Looks the perfect size, and great presence on your wrist.
Love the simplicity with no date. It's very simple and uncluttered. Fun to play around with various straps as...
Beautiful looking watch! Congratulations!

I just watched a video about that very Seiko, as I know very little about it. I actually saw one a couple of years ago, at a local AD.
Very difficult for me to say which I would choose for an...
Beautiful! Rapidly becoming my favourite Rolex. Even the gorgeous Sub 114060 No Date which is a favourite of mine is starting to take second place to this one!
I love the blue dial. And the red...
Well done! It looks great and thanks for sharing your story.

Where on earth would obtain such a sense of entitlement? The only thing you should expect from any business is a quality product and good service. If you have bought 5 Breitlings, then I can only...
I don't agree with you there, but I love that expression :applouse:! It's a new one for me!

I like it! And I don't like most GMTs. Wonder if the bezel is ceramic. I know it's not Liquidmetal, as it would state that on the website. However, it doesn't state whether it's ceramic or steel.

As I glanced at my Speedy today, I was trying to understand why I like it so much:
It's not blingy at all. I do like just a bit of the bling. The dial is matt black, and I really prefer polished....
I think it's a beautiful watch! The titanium looks great, a shade darker than the stainless steel. Great when you can pick up a NOS like that!
The local Omega Bouitque has a few models - not...
Always loved the YM. And with the new blue dial, even more stunning!
Congratulations and enjoy the YM!

That really is a stunningly beautiful watch! I don't like the pics of the "White" dial on the Breitling website, but your pics have actually captured it beautifully. I have never seen one in person,...
Thanks. I realized while thinking about it in bed last night, that the Tachymetre does not rotate! Don't know what I was thinking, or not thinking as the case may be.

Wow! Have to say, that model is a first for me. I like it very much. Does it's history have anything to do with the Flightmaster? Just thinking that the case design seems to have certain...
