Just watched the first episode of Blue Lights on BBC1. Very gritty, I would assume realistic, and very well acted. Looking forward to the next five episodes.

Enjoyed the first episode thoroughly except for the Noye thing. A thoroughly nasty piece of work that they also seem to be trying to portray as some sort of class warrior.
Yes, superb, and I agree with you about the storyline improving.
Most violent thing I've seen on TV outside of a slasher flick.
It wasn't the violence per se that jarred, to be expected from the series title alone. It was the unrealistic hollywood style one man taking on many and winning that jarred. Thoroughly enjoyed it...
Excellent, thank you :)
Gangs Of London on Sky Atlantic also looks very promising. I realise its now two years old but its new to me.
The only jarring note (entertaining but still jarring) was when Elliot took on and beat...
Isn't it just! An excellent plot setting first episode. Wonder what surprises they have in store for us over the next none episodes?
Cheers, may have to watch that one at least twice ;)
Enjoying this greatly, I've only seen the first two episodes so far but it's shaping up nicely.
"The Nest" a five parter which started on BBC two nights ago looks pretty good judging by the first episode. Didn't think it would be my cup of darjeeling, but thoroughly enjoyed it.
