Latest arrival. Had one of these without the starburst pattern before, but it was lost/stolen in the mail on its way to a service about 4 years ago. This one has a few shortcomings (like an incorrect...
Those Heron watches look really nice. The caribbean blue version is a great colour too. Could do without the hipster captain on the caseback, but overall a better offering than the new Bremonts...
Recent arrival: a Ricoh Riquartz from the 70s in a case made out of silver. Have a fine weekend all!

That is quite the teaser. Interested to find out what it is. And please include the pool top and shorts in the review.
Another new Grand Seiko release, SLGH021. I think this is one of the best looking dials they've ever done.

I appreciate the response, but I'm afraid I wasn't quite serious. I'm not really a fan of the huge escape valve and ring lock text.
Very nice. But not cheap at €11.700 in steel and €49.500 in rose gold.

Does anyone know if this has an original gas escape valve? I can't quite tell from the picture...
Latest arrival, Takano Chateau. Have a good weekend all!

They're 40mm I believe, so smaller than the Top time or the Hanhart. It's the later reissues that are in the 45mm range, I think. I used to have the black version and it wore pretty well on my...
That's actually the window sill in my government office :-)
(not that I would take watch photos at work of course...)
Something a little unusual arrived yesterday. Not unusual because of its groundbreaking design, but rather the company that made it. Takano was a Japanese company founded in 1899 that initially...
Very cool and still in good nick. Get it serviced and wear it again!
Are you looking to buy new or is vintage a consideration? And do you prefer the style of the top time or are you open to different styles? My first reflex when asking for a flyback chrono would be...
Great looking watch and good for you for getting one back. Though I do slightly prefer the orange to the green. The orange is almost literally fire.
To add to that: the Heuer Silverstone looks much better than the Monaco. And so does the Montreal.
I’d love to see it!
You could get that same one in blue, use one part from each and have a pepsi trap too.
That's an excellent birthday present. And very satisfying to see the orange hands all lined up.
They have a Sydney Opera House there too?
Not in the market for a Fifty Fathoms, but that Aqua Lung is probably my favourite Blancpain and one of my favourite watches in general. Perfect combination of sporty and dressy IMO. A quick look at...
It's not about the size (of the jewel count), but how you use it, right? And your Silverwave certainly competes in the looks department. It's the kind of watch that several years ago I wouldn't have...
Still the latest arrival. Have a good weekend everyone.

It looks great. Take it as a sign and keep it!
