Very impressive, given that it works and is robust. It will be tricky to get the rest of the movement to be as robust, i.e., the bit which reduces the high vibration to something useable.

A walk though with the folks who built it to make sure that it was as we wished.

We live in the middle of town, with only a small garden, so all we get is some birds. However, the Chinese cherry tree, crabapple tree and peach tree are all starting to bloom!

Ours was built in 2016. We signed the contract towards the end of July. They started work on the 4th of October, and we had the final inspection on the 20th of October. So, 2 months for us. It is...
Although I have a Garmin handheld (old Oregon, I think), I too use my phone. Mostly because the screen is bigger and has a much higher resolution than the handheld. If I'm out and about, I always...
Here's a picture of the document camera. Very agricultural. Works perfectly.
Disassembled a cheapo 1080p webcam.
Replacement lens with a narrower FOV.
Kludged together stand.
Spare led...
It works straight out of the box, although I changed the lens, and generally use it with OBS.
When teaching, I generally use it with OBS so I can also use a secondary document camera at the...
In low light, e.g., candle light, the metal of the hands and hour markers will reflect some light. The jewels at the hour markers will sparkle, as will the seconds markers on the bezel. God only...
I'm glad to hear that there is progress towards health. My sympathies and best wishes.

I (sort of) like the Breitling. Much more subtle than the pictured Rolex. I have experimented with "cat's eyes" reflective paint on watch dials. The jewels on the bezel are doing the same work. ...

PS I've also owned a 1974 VW "Thing" and a VW transporter from 1963. :)

Big Dug.
I got some as a temporary measure for my home office when we moved in in 2016. Never got around to changing it. (Partly, no doubt, due to lack of funds).

Perfect!

Back in 1990, I was given some money to buy a watch by my grandmother (finishing my PhD). I asked a very wealthy friend of mine whether he would recommend a Rolex (Datejust, I believe) or an Omega...
Camera: Apeman A80 action camera with Cvivid Lens 72 Degree. The Apeman can be used as a webcam, and takes 12mm lenses, so there are quite a few lenses available. On a moveable camera stand. I...
Bravo, to them! Excellent result for them!

Years ago I had gout in one big toe. Or, at least, I think it was gout. I gave up drinking port and heavy red wines (and later became teetotal). After giving up the port and red wine, it...
I've purchased two small trees from Ornamental Trees. Very good service.
The first tree, planted in spring 2018, was a crab apple tree, which was 1-2 m, I think. It is now 3-4m, I think.. ...
You are on a roll, now. Pay off mine!
Best wishes,
Bob
I too like this. The lighting is also very good.

I was going to show it from a different angle as well, but something happened to the sample.

Sure. Drop the powdered milk to make it dryer. Use 430ml of liquid, any combination of water or milk. Using milk adds a bit of fat, which makes it less crunchy.
Best wishes,
Bob
I've been making a lot of it. Used for breakfast toast and tea snack. I'm down to less than 15 minutes to make.
+ 600g flour. (I use what's in. Last batch was 200g strong white, 200g v strong...
