Thanks
They're absolutely beautiful :love7:
Loake Glendale from their 1880 range. Colour is Conker. They have the Commando sole which feels indestructible. Comfortable from first wear.

I like the look of the Lanx Pike and they review really well but they're expensive for not being one of the major brands.

The outlet is brilliant when you hit on for your size. These NPS-Solovair high gloss, six eyelet brogue boots were delivered today and are spot on.

Better laces?

I get that it’s different and that’s what I was going for. I’ve also found they’re much easier to tie like this and also keep my foot positioned in the centre of the boot better. You can blame...

Not a single pair I like on their site at the moment. Too formal / poncey for me.
My first pair from NPS / Solovair and I’m impressed. Lovely high gloss leather and Goodyear welted sole. Made in Northamptonshire. Comfy straight out of the box.

I like those a lot!
Picked up these Red Wing Chucka a few weeks ago and love them.

They look like Loake Bedale.
Grenson Parker arrived today. Beautiful.

Not exactly winter boots but just ordered a pair of Grenson Parker in black.
My new faves:
How do you find they size? True to size or would you recommend buying a size down or up?
They’re cheap because they’re rubbish.
I'd hope so for £600!
Beautiful boots BTW.
I've been having a look at Panama Jack and they look tremendous. Damn you and your recommendations ;)
I've had these for around fifteen years now, bought when Timberland still made quality boots. They've been worn thousands of times yet the heel and sole show hardly any wear and the leather is still...
Strange. I've had mine for ten years and they're still waterproof. I got soaked a couple of weeks ago, really soaked! Everything I was wearing was wet except for my socks!
Try pouring talcum powder into the boots and shaking it around so it works into any gaps. This worked a treat on my squeaking Loakes and they never did it again.
