That’s good info, didn’t realise they were a different last.

Nice one new 875s on the way. Half tempted to give the 1907s a go too
Proper boot that, lovely.
There were some movs with a black instead of white sole, think they were all short run though....
Like a low leg coniston, winner
Some new trickers burfords in marron with a a danite sole have arrived. Proper boot.

I’m on the hunt for...
They came up really well
Those vibergs look nice.
I keep meaning to have a look in the shop on Manchester.
I like The Hale shoe, I would like a modern black derby for work and don’t fancy paying £500 notes on trickers Woodstock.
Bridgedale make great socks and are worth a look.
Trickers had a range that were fur lined for Scott or Hillary I think. ( some on this thread somewhere).
If you are hitting the surplus stores, get some aircrew cold weather socks.
Edit -...
Nice - are they from end?
Cracking those, big fan of trickers.
Nice - you have fine taste in footwear.
I need to make a visit to the C&J shop.
I picked up a pair of Purdey rough out boots made by C&J ( similar to coniston but slightly tweaked last).
Thanks that’s the cheapest I have found the burfords, leather looks good too..
I have heard good things about carmina.
Have you got a decent pic of the marron in daylight?
Saying that I am eyeing up some rough out coniston now too.
Anyone got any Trickers Burfords in marron? If so what does the leather age like?
Not a bad price for acorn stows

It’s that time of year again. I fancy a plain boot for a change. A pair of Trickers Burford might be the ticket I either marron or espresso.
Funny that, I have left my trusty 875s in the mess down south.
It’s that time of year again. Time to dig out the C&J coniston that have been sat unloved due to lockdown.
Nice- a bit like the Axton boot. I have a similar show version in tan. Sadly too small and I keep meaning to get them stretched.
Really, very clever. Thanks for the info.
My latest addition

Wonder why they didn’t use metal eyelets?

Cracking boots, I love my stowes.
