The Iron Ranger has a very rounded roomy toe box.

Exactly same experience for me too. I used Dubbin as well and it kept out freezing muddy water fine on a long walk.

Yup, igloo aviator or something.

I have a pair too that I bought as winter boots two years ago, with the wool lining as my Red Wings Iron Rangers I normally wear are unlined. The Panama Jack's were immediately comfortable and warm....
Yup, desert boots off, Red Wings back on!
Mine arrived and are far too small in my usual size, so I have ordered the next whole size up, as unfortunately they don't have half sizes. If those are too small, back to the drawing board... In the...
Agree, that's why I went for the brown. Got the igloo as it wasn't much more and might as well be toasty.
Just gone for igloo Panama Jacks after third year of my feel feeling cold in Red Wing Iron Rangers. Although the Iron Rangers are great in Autumn and Spring, they are not three season boots...
Very nice. Good to know they weather well with age.

I used dubbin initially and now just clean up with Renapur leather balsam.

Iron Rangers after two years of wear and treatment with Renapur leather balsam. I think they look better,

Looks good, what I intended doing once the cork soles wear out.
Looking at those Ice cutters, I much prefer the double toe cap pocket on the Iron Rangers!
Photos please! I have had the Iron Rangers for two seasons and they still look like new, bit of wear on the heel and that's it. I had heard about the sole being slippy but they have been fine so...
