Would say depending on your foot width you could go half down in the Mocs as they are a bit wider and have much more room in the toe.

I have both and slightly prefer the thorogood. Sizing is correct for me and they are comfortable out of the box.
The moc toe is more prominent than in the redwing and they are Norwegian welted.
