I will do that next time I'm at MTC :chuncky:
Agreed.
The Twelve X will likely have better value retention than the Zenith has clearly had. The CW is also better looking than the Zenith IMO in terms of skeletonisation and architecture.

Thanks all :)
To answer the above Qs, it wears extremely well on the wrist. I'm more used to the slightly larger and thicker 15500 etc, so this feels more delicate. Due to this it does not feel...
Pity that its only really a bargain if you are in Australia.
As they are charging the price including Australian Sales Tax on exports, so we pay VAT on top of the Australian tax too. Plus...
I picked up this Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo "Extra Thin" in yellow gold with fumé petite tapisserie dial from the AP boutique a few days ago.

Yes, I was very lucky to be allocated the Maritime Blue one, as I absolutely love the dial.
My recently acquired watches with "out there" extreme dials. I thought the group might enjoy the pics.
A bit of a Fire & Ice theme with the limited pair of Chopard Alpine Eagle "Tiffany" Maritime...

When I said "I removed", I refer to my scoping/designing. Hence "removed" meaning these text items (e.g. Made in Germany) are always on these dials, but text I deleted was never engraved onto my...
Thanks for sharing that Dave :)
They use a pantograph.
Thanks again all.
Really nice to see old school watchmaking so appreciated. And the customisation too, as I had expected my choices to be rather marmite, as this one was a one-off piece only...
Thanks all for your extremely kind and generous comments :)
There is a v good review of the brand here: https://youtu.be/moPHxraLIyA?si=4Th1jJr39F85OYmZ
