Another one heading to Prague.
No.
Yes.
Actually there are two Prim watches sellers fighting over the brand name. One makes watches in Czech Republic in the old factory where millions of Prim watches used to be made from 1949...
Hi John,
we at Czech Chronomag watch forum are watching the whole old CAF project and this thread closely. And I just hope that the CAF pricing will be more affordable than the Prim Orlik...
Thank you.
Three watches have been made and that's it. But I wonder when Longines will come with a reeissue. Or a silver case CAF watch shows up?
My vote went to Dreadnouhgt, such a beautiful diver.
Finally, the Zeno CAF project is finished - numerals done by hand in Luminova

It is not final yet. The next dial will have numbers in Luminova.
Sure it is not as good as the CAF hommage drawing above, but I am quite enjoying this watch.

Zeno Carre with a new dial and hands.
# 33 sold to Weiview, stayed in Czech Republic.
Well, John, thanks again. I am quite happy with this dial design:

John, thank you, Aviation sounds good to me.
It's the Zeno case, 43 mm.
It will not work for me, being Czech. Furthermore, the Longines watch was issued in Czechoslovakia, so the Czech Rep. would not be historically correct.
This is just a first version of the dial, I can have on the dial whatever I want, I would just prefer to have some writing there rather than leave it black. Any ideas for a good dial text are welcome.
I am thinking about a dial and hands replacement with Zeno Carre. What do you think about it?

Still waiting for the CAF Homage :( . Got a Zeno Retro Carre to make the waiting bearable :) . And a vintage band from WACCEX . Like it a lot. Especially the band, not that excited about the...
Two pics of original CAF watches. Pics made by a member of the Czech Watch Forum called Chronomag. I wish I had these two beauties:

Yes, the springbars are separate, they come included with the strap and they are not too thick, just standard size. The thick springbars from Seiko Monster did not get through.
"The red square section" is in my case black and it is made of very hard plastic. The plastic square part is about 18 mm wide, it means it is shorter than the width of the strap which is of course 20...
Well worlok, my wife said no :P ... so maybe some other time.
I have been wearing it for several days and so far it still smells like a new car. I expect it will behave better than a leather...
I got it from a German e-shop http://www.stetefeld-design.de/ for 39 EUR. Good place with a terrific choice of straps IMHO but "nur in Deutsch".
It actually does not look like a rubber strap, it...
I'm affraid I won't be able to answer all your questions.
Length: 80 mm/115 mm, only one size was available at the German e-shop with watch accessories where I got it
They call it "rubber...
