Flying into Nice in a couple of weeks and renting some motorbikes to go around the coast.
Anything I should not miss? I've not been to the South of France since a school trip nearly 30 years ago...
Looks mega this mate!
Got out today with a few of us. Did the horse shoe pass then onto the Evo triangle.
Amazing set of roads but has average speed cameras the whole way round now so spoilt the fun.
Then went up...
Did Liverpool-Bala-Barmouth and back today in that heat. Was a good ride but roads were busy!
What do you guys use for tail bags. I just want something small 10-15 litres maybe to fit on the rack...
Yes just a mirror thankfully.
I figured I would be able to just lift the bike like a deadlift....... realised it was really heavy and decided against it.
I ended up doing the thing where I...
Finally got my new bike today after my MT 09 being stolen from home last month.
Safe to say its a very different bit of kit. Feel much higher up but it goes around corners great.
It's a 2018...
I know it's wrong and I am supposed to just put my left down and right on the back brake but unless I'm on a hill I generally just stand up on both feet to give my legs a stretch.
I'm 6'2" or so, so should be able to almost flat foot any of them.
I've always wanted a Ducati and that MultiV4s looks like it would fit the bill but I want to be somewhere around £10k rather than...
Mine would spend 95% of the time on the road which is why I was thinking S rather than R
I'm not super tall but should be tall enough that the height of any of these bikes should be fine. I felt...
Thinking about getting a KTM 1290 Super Adventure to replace my stolen MT09.
Anyone got one?
I'm leaning towards the S model but the R is similar price.
Just tried to message him but his inbox is full

I hadn't renewed my contents insurance for 2 years.
Just stupidity basically.

I know. What an idiot [emoji2357]
I hardly ever wear it either.
Had a few beers watching the game and just been really careless.
So annoyed with myself.

Well my house was broken into last night, pretty sure they came for the bike.
I'd got in from watching the game and took my Skydweller off and put it on the kitchen island and went to bed.

I have no doubt the tyre is far better than I am

No it was a new tyre when I bought it used 12 months ago.
I do think the garage were being a little over cautious as I'm normally quite onto tyres and things.
I suppose I did run it in there...
It's an MT09, I'm not even a good enough rider to have acted like a hooligan enough to destroy a tyre in 2k either I don't think [emoji1787]

Was ruthless on the dock road in Liverpool today too.

Picked the worst day ever to get my bike out of the garage and take it for a service.
Weather here was awful. Wind was brutal and it was my first time on it in nearly 5 months I think.
Anyway...
Aintree is such a grim hospital.
I know you aren't local Enoch so if you need anything brought to you let me know I'm not far away.
Get well soon.
I've had a friends and family deal put in front of me that pretty much makes it a no brainer even if it were to just park it in my offices as a piece of art [emoji1787]
I've got covid at the...
Anyone looked at the BMW R18 family?
There are some crazy finance deals flying about on them.
I saw the normal R18 first edition when they first came out and just remember how big it was and...
You're not wrong there!
I have the Mt09 in this colourway and the wheels are always a disgrace.
Any tips on how to clean them quickly and keep them clean for longer would be much appreciated!
It didn't hit the bike.
Hit me straight in the ribs under my arm and went across my lap. It was on the floor in the middle lane and flew out the way of a car a couple of car lengths ahead of me...
