Husqvarna 701e will put an enormous smile on your face and with sensible tyres for road/ off road is comfortable too
They are very light and very punchy-140-ish kg and 75-80bhp with an end can fitted
I’m quite interested in one of these to sit alongside my 1250gs
Great reputation and mods quite cheap and easy
Nice to be able to pretty much use all of its capabilities too- despite riding for 44...
Sea was lovely at Milford-on-sea today…..
I fitted 4mm thick Michelin inner tubes to my Husqvarna 701e to reduce the chances of punctures
They came highly recommended…

first ride out since major heart operation
great to be back on the bike
Tried the multistrada?
Mate has just picked up a 950s which seems pretty nice so far
Think I’d probably pick the 1260 twin for the torque but might tempt me off my 1250gs rallye….
Great news Andy!
Onwards and upwards….
Sorry to hear this Enoch
Get well soon!
My sister broke her femur in 17 places years ago but made a great recovery so I’m sure they Get you fixed up🙂
Hope you enjoy it!
(Got one identical🙂)
Great news Andy!
Great isn’t it!
I’m 3 miles from there- we should have met!
Yep, I have a sw motech one on my 1250 gs that expands to take my helmet
Zipper pulls have loops to put a padlock through too…think it goes 24-36 litres
Very good bit of kit
I use Rukka Rytmi in the summer and Rukka Mars when it’s cold
Both excellent fit and nice and flexible too.
^^^nice looking H2
I had a GT750 “kettle” back in the day, always wanted the H2 though…
I think CCM are using the old 600/610/630 series Husqvarna engines that were from the era when BMW owned Husqvarna- I might be wrong but I think it’s the same motor as may be doing the rounds in the...
Cringe
As you say (pugster) shocking welding…if you’re going to lacquer it to show it off, it needs to be good.(and not Rusty)
Better welding and then nickel plating would make all the difference....
Nice
Recently sold my Husqvarna 701e and intrigued to see they use the Husky 600 engine in the ccm
Power, response and fuelling on mine was awesome-definitely feel the competition heritage in these...
Occasionally use either my Arai freeway or BMW bowler
Always (without fail) use proper impact resistant safety glasses though. Usually uvex ones
Lovely!
Good enough to hang on the living room wall!
Call me if you decide to sell, wouldn’t mind another! Don’t suppose you bought it off Gooner (Mike on the Gs forum?)
Indeed! I once had the exact model/ colour…fantastic, capable machine.
Looks like it’s got the raised handlebar mod with extended screen and a nice matching belly pan too- well modded bike.
Gap insurance usually pretty expensive from supplying dealers
Can easily be bought on line much cheaper…..
Never bothered except once when mrs Goat took out a pcp plan for a new
car just to get an...
onwards and upwards !
Glad you’re making progress
I’ve just bought a 69 plate rallye from bahnstormer- was going to buy new and always pay cash for cars or bikes
No “deals” on GS’s , which are in short supply, as the factory that builds the esa...
Just been out for the final spin on the F900XR, new one arriving Friday😬
Wonder what the weather’s going to do🤨
