BMW just refused to quote for my GS so that’s quite telling.
Ended up with Bemoto after explaining I wasn’t keen on having my pants down on the initial renewal price.

This is beginning to look like that lovely Harley you had.

I think I know most of Tim’s men on the ground. Can’t help but think if I shop a bike there I can go discover for myself where the closures are. Tim would be on dirt track, goat track and through...
Seeing your trip reports has me itchy and needing to ride. I took my GS up the volcano in Iceland a few years ago, anyone know if they are permitting bikes into the higher risk areas ?
Do you recall if they need a water and power supply or if they’re self-contained?
I have a few of my bikes that need a decent clean and I don’t have water supply for them.
Thanks. Have you used them before ?
The company I used to use took my bike away to do the job and it fell off the trailer so I need a new recommended pro.
I don’t know the name, which area does he work in ?
I should add that if I do another off-road adventure then it would be a fully tricked KTM500. But for road riding, no.
I’ve had a 790R that wouldn’t work when it get wet in a stream in Iceland.
A 790R where optional extras stopped working after a firmware upgrade.
A loan 1290 that cut out ( loss of power) on...
Thanks, they are full RRP on current ranges. I think I may have to nip to Germany!
I ride on rough roads and where rh obligatory adventure biker gear. Last year I bought myself some new Klim kodiak 2 pants (£800) said I’d buy the jacket when the dealer had my size in stock.
So...
I will check. Every time I think that’s an option the weather is good and lunch in France seems like a good idea.

I’m thinking of selling some of my toys, please talk me out of it.
Triumph Rocket III Roadster ( the previous version not the current one) 500 miles only wrapped in bubble wrap.
Harley Road...
Fascinating, thanks for sharing. I have a few bikes and as soon as I get to retire a workshop sized garage is on the list to try tasks like this.
Would a high milage engine be suitable as a donor...
I prefer that stunning Harley you had.
Have you tried the Rocket, and if so, how does it compare?
Great, thank you. I’m going to go stare at my GSA in wonderment now !
Can I ask how you know or calculated that?
Thanks
Thanks.
Trying to get some weight off before the trip as I suspect the food there will kill me if I don’t get fit first.
Surely not the GSA?
Nice. I’m doing Route 66 this year on an Electra glide. Not sure I will enjoy driving a sideboard but my better half is looking forward to the armchair.
Thank you. Indebted to you.
Now, about my Road King ..
