I’m torn between thinking those headlights are the coolest thing ever or just look like a cartoon cow winking

Just been catching up - this has really made me laugh!
Am a bit concerned all your talk of striple mods is going to end up costing me as I replicate..
We did tell you!
If the curiosity gets too much, would be happy to swap bikes for a little bit...
Tony, that looks awesome - so jealous! Excellent decision.
We might need a new thread, I think you’ve smashed what you set out to do in this one!
They certainly do! Thanks, I’ll look into this
Fairly new biker here - what’s the benefit of this? Is it to save half a year road tax/insurance and is it much effort getting it back on the road?
Sounds like the girlfriend and I, except she drove into a fence twice and they wouldn’t let her on the roads. She a happy pillion so maybe ignorance is bliss!
Excellent - well done Tony! Do share the war stories.
Had been missing this thread, and no wonder when it comes back with such drama! Well done on the discount, and hope the osteopath set you up for breezing through the test tomorrow

Ha, thanks for the update Tony, at least you’re enjoying the roads.
Coming out of lunch at a caf in a builders yard just before taking mod1 I dropped the bike turning around in front of an...
Completely agree, think I said similar earlier in this epic thread. I was really nervous going from the YBR to MT-07 for DAS - FIVE TIMES the HP I was used to!! But it was fine, and didn't really get...
Biased as I bought a striple a few weeks ago as my first bike, but as a newbie it’s been everything I wanted - light, forgiving yet powerful, looks & sounds awesome.
You might find the power more...
Be interesting to see how much he comes down, and you’ll get more for the YBR privately (though I guess it’s near the end of learner season - start advertising now!). Is it because he has other...
Was so happy to sell the YBR. After riding a proper bike, it felt so powerless and rickety on those tiny wheels. Definitely not looking back!
And congrats on the theory!
Thanks - just survived ride 3!
I imagine you'll be on the road pre-Mod 1 - maybe they're a bit more budget, but my school basically just found quiet roads/car parks to practice the manoeuvres on,...
Hi Tony,
Just found this thread. So I sound a few months ahead of you. I did my CBT May 17, owned a YBR for a year, did my DA this April and just bought my first big bike - a 2013 triumph street...
