No doubt trialling it as a future safety test; three minutes with your testicles in a bucket of ice is a pass.

Of course, you are right Marc, the original Z650 did come in green, hence the new green homage. In my defence, it was a long time ago![emoji23]
I’ve owned two Ducatis, an 89 900SS and a 98 916 so do know what I’m talking about. Tractors they may be but non the worse for that.
I do still have a green one but the Z650 was never made in...
A monster 600 of that era is a long long way away from a new CB500 or Z650, they are like going from a limo to a tractor.
I also think the Kwak looks better in green.
...
I know you like your Hondas and the look of new bikes but if I were in your shoes, I’d be looking at the Z650RS.
But then I’m probably much older than you and now have a 1979 Z650C.
Congratulations, it gorgeous.
It may have a few niggles (just imagine it’s a 40 year old, they all do) but I’m sure most, if not all, the issues have a fix by now.
It’s going to be a hell of...
There was one for sale on here a few years back.
FSOT - Norton commando 961 cafe racer.

Well that’s going to be a four bike garage! [emoji106]
I see a Team TZ continental ride out on the horizon!
Indeed; any bike will do anything you want it to, it’s just a matter of which make/model you prefer.
And almost all recommendations you get on here will be biased for the above reasons.

Not the cb750 but from the same era, this arrived yesterday. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240418/9bf4384b833590123e0e9f6694a72b96.jpg
Well I’m thinking of going down to three (or four!)
That’s great new Tony, hopefully the weather will kind and you can enjoy the summer. [emoji106][emoji1696]
It’s got to be the FE.
Big bikes are addictive but smaller bikes that you can push closer to their limits are more fun in the real world.
It really is a case of diminishing marginal returns; one the one hand, how much more fun will you have on the £12k bike compared to the £8k bike or the £15k bike compared to the £12k?
On the other...
I had a B1 in the early eighties and a C1 in the late eighties (sold in 1990 when I bought a new ZZR600 and thought it pointless having more than one bike![emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]).
I always...
Looking forward to a new arrival.

One of my projects which I’ll get found to soon (honest!) is a GPz750 frame which will have a zr7 engine and electrics, with a 2007 GSXR750 front and rear end. The engine won’t be tuned initially but...
I wanted a new unitrac in 83 too but had to make do with a second hand z400J.
I’ve a few in my garage now though.
I don’t remember the L in those colours, was it a standard option or had it been resprayed?
Fell off a ladder, nothing compared to what both Enoch and yourself have been through. I’m planning on being back on the bike next weekend all being well.
I’m currently off two wheels too. And the bike needs an MOT!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240330/0c9b4c88c18886c172dbbb5ed8e6434b.jpg
1100?
It’s difficult to tell whether it’s the 750 or 1100 but unless you were very small, it looks too big to be the 750.
They’re certainly a beauty but, to be fair, just about every one you’ll see today is better than it was new!
