Meanwhile... I'm sniffing around Squale 1521s. Luckily people with models I like seem to think their battered old **** is worth the same...
ISWYDT :encouragement:
^Nice^
I've been tipped from my tumbril again. The addiction has me in its maw right now...

That was a very keen price for a recent full-Teg example - heading towards
€3,000 new now!
I make that minus thirteen for the year - any other way of looking at this would break the lot of us addicts I fear... :encouragement:
Meanwhile... I've been sniffing-around ebay again, and...
Well quite, it's no Dugena! :winkskull:
Nicely diverse collection, that B&R being the highlight for me.
I also count that as two slots to fill, because wrist-computers don't counts as watches... :wink-new:
I love it when a plan comes together. Bagsy first dibs :encouragement:
PSHAW! 'Tis nothing, a blip, a hiccup, a moment's inattention! :notworthy:
Right - I am back on an even keel!
After three incomings in two months, I have sold no less than five watches this week :triumphant: (...and bunged some ££ into the FR!)
With one more...
Funnily enough I really get where you're coming-from. I'm honestly suprised that the watch world (well, the UK bit) is so conformist and sheep-like. People feel the need to pile hate onto any maker...
Not hard to see why you fell for that - Boldr have a unique design language, and I really like it.
Both of these should definitely get a pass IMO :encouragement:
Thank-you SO much for doing worse than me over this time period, I am, however, three-up just since NYD...

What I thought was a dead battery proved to be a dead movement.
5 years and £12 is not too bad I...
Think this has got to be based on headcount - i.e. if you exchanged one for two, you now have more watches and therefore will not be going to heaven until you atone for this sin.
Based on my own...
My pleasure. We are alive in a time of linguistic horrors - witness: a watch writer using the word "platform" to denote the generic styling and movement common to a microbrand's fairly unremarkable...
I failed in the first week by buying a cheapie from SC, and then double-failed a week later buying the updated version of the same watch brand-new.
Made myself feel better by giving the first one...
You win at falling off the wagon spectacularly! Enjoy!
I'm out for now thanks to a recent purchase - until I sell something!
Sign me up, too, please - I still have far too many watches that haven't seen a wrist in over a year, and so need rehoming.
It helps that there's nothing on my radar since even my favourite...
