Going thorough insurance they'd still milk it, a hire car for a month while the correct plastic end caps arrived from china.
That'll be £2k please and £7 for parts.
£3300 to repair this. I'm still angry nearly a year later.

if they caught on then you'd never need to run the length of your garden to answer a call from someone trying to scam you.
I complained to Axa about a £3.5k repair to my car that chips away quoted £400 to repair, £220 if I'd have lived with a small spot of paint missing from the wing.
They upheld my complaint but...
That's a handsome watch and some incredible pictures.
I think this just proves that you've essentially got two home phones and only use one. Again I suspect most mobile owners wouldn't have similar experiences or in many cases even a landline.
I would suggest that your mobile phone use isn't typical. Text/WhatsApp works for millions of people.
The problem in your example stems from your assumption on reading a message not the timely or...
That's really cool. lots of unusual, innovative ideas all combined in one attractive watch.
I'm not sure why anyone would buy the tag for that much when an original is available for a fraction of the cost.
I've owned a few, they're great watches but over a grand? Nah.

Saw this on Kickstarter, not my normal cup of tea but I quite like it.

Looks broken, considering how few are on the roads there are a lot going wrong.
Makes the Zenith a less attractive option taking that into account.
I wonder how much a service on the zenith would be compared to CW.
My car had a parking ding caused by a neighbour catching a bumper, chips away said £400, the neighbour who did it wanted to go insurance. Had I come back to it in a car park I wouldn't have bothered...
Totally agree, the lack on contrast between hands and dial always puts me off this style of watch.
Why not make the hands pop a bit more, this isn't going to be bought by someone with the eyesight...
I wouldn't speak about the member in question but I've always felt that a bit of astroturfing was going on with Bremont. Just a few too many cult like posters defending their every move.
They...
It amazes me just how they're still in contact with them, it takes nearly a day for the signal to travel the 15 billion miles. But I can't get a signal on my sky box from isleworth if the weather is...
There is a video of someone peeling a carrot on the edge of a door before chopping it in the boot.
The funniest thing about the whole thing is the number with serious faults documented on twitter...
Pity the thread has gone off topic, there is so much to talk about and laugh at with the cybertruck, the fact it looks like it was built by the losing team on scrapheap challenge, the amazing tent...
That's a really interesting read.
It's probably lume related, needs refreshing by supplying a new £300 dial.
Google lens doesn't give a match and the model number on the back of the case is for a 3 hander (according to Google)
That is pretty brutal.
