Drove the new Abarth 124 Spider a few days ago in reasonable anger and it is a very nice car. Feels like a grown up MX5, but without losing the MX5ness........

I hope so although I am dropping 400bhp from my previous cars 560bhp, so suspect that while fun, I may feel it lacking in oomph :-)

I once built a Westfield with pretty much everything in Carbon to save weight down to 450kg. Only problem was that I added almost 20% to the weight once I got in it.

Had a similar argument on another forum in the past. 80's was a decade of excess and many great cars came with big spoilers such as Cosworths, 911 and Saab Turbo's not to mention the ones which came...

I get more questions about the E63 in the petrol station than I do with the Ferrari TBH. Fuel is currently running at 22mpg after 1500 miles. Admittedly 1000 of those we're running in !

the Speed 6 engines did indeed have a plate so that you know who to blame...... From someone who had three S6 engines...... 2 of them in 11 days !

I have a range rover for daily use although I do consider the SL to be my reliable car !
