Very nice too! Did you get the cam belts done at the same time?
This was my very late registered S4 from a few years ago

The company has informed us they wish to take back company cars at the end of the month and offer a car allowance instead. I've been very impressed by the high-spec Skoda Octavia they've been...
A very useful feature indeed. Saves you having to do it manually.
God help you all if my wife was terrorising British roads with 400bhp!
My missus has zero need for such a beast. We have no kids. I can't remember the last time she had passengers in the rear seat. She doesn't carry very large objects around in the boot. A thorough...
She'll think she's a 'gangsta' now.
Whilst I personally abhor the purely fashionable trend toward SUVs, the missus likes 'em and so shortly, she'll be driving this for the foreseeable...

A beautiful 6 series! I was selling for BMW in 1988/9 and loved the 6s. Would dearly love an M635CSi.
Sheppey - outside the Playa Club. Thought it looked familiar. The wife's family used to live just up from that many years ago.
There is a beauty to the simplicity of the early cars. That one needs its number plates changed for legal ones though. Silver on black is only legal for registrations before Jan 1st 1973.
Mike's a top guy. His car is a little odd in that it has the complete GTS rear end but therefore looks great.
I think you're absolutely right about most Porsche Indys.
Owned by IMM -...
Thanks - it was taken by another 928 fanatic.
The cars are reasonably bullet-proof, to be honest, so long as the cam belt is changed every 4 years or 40,000 miles and the torque tube is...
Sadly, having just sold mine, I'd be inclined to agree with you. Love the 928 but keep an eye on prices as they're very much on the rise.

Hi Mark
It is an S4 albeit a very late registered one. It was one of 77 UK cars registered after the introduction of the GTS during 92 & 93 (this one is Feb 93). Lovely car but unfortunately, the...
Well, as of yesterday evening, I no longer get to drive this at the weekend.

The Merc 500E. Great car! Built on the Porsche line in Stuttgart. I drove one once - hoot of a motor.
That was also a fad amongst a small number of German owners of the original M5 who used to badge them as 518s.
Thanks. The car is original and has done 75,000 miles in over 21 years. It was one of the very last S4s (they officially ended production during 1992 but this was registered Feb 93). Full service...
Well, the collection was delayed by a week but on Saturday, finally got the new toy home. Very chuffed.

Cheers. It certainly won't be as economical as the everyday diesels we drive but then again, I don't anticipate more than 2-3,000 miles per year at most.
Thank you. What was odd was, having made an appointment to see it on Saturday, I noticed an article in the new issue of Classic Cars which came out on Friday that compared the 928 with several other...
Well, as of next weekend, we'll be picking up our new weekend car. No prizes for guessing where we bought it from, i.e. forgive the library photos.
